74 | A Chunk Of Wood

"I am such a terrible girlfriend." Mia said as she laid on Sirius' bed. 

"Why? What did you do? Please don't tell me you cheated on him." Sirius asked, dramatically.

"Pads! No. God, no." Mia shook her head. "I don't know what get my boyfriend for his birthday. What should I get him?"

"Amy, Prongs' birthday is in two days. You need to find him a present."

"I need help. Please help me." Mia pouted.

"Buy him something he'll treasure forever." Sirius suggested.

"Which is?" Mia asked.

"I don't know either." Sirius admitted. "A new broom?"

"No. He loves the broom he has at the moment. Plus he's leaving Hogwarts soon and he won't be able to use a broom." Mia stated.

"A jumper?"

"No. I don't have good taste in picking jumpers."

"Cologne?"

"No."

"A kiss on the lips? "

"We always kiss."

"How 'bout give him a baby? I'm sure Prongs will love that." Sirius smiled.

Mia glared at her best friend. "Pads, come on! I need you to be serious." Mia whined

"I am Sirius, Amy." He grinned.

"I hate you."

"Why don't you give him a cassette tape and a walkman? He was always talking about buying it soon." Sirius suggested.

Mia gave him a quick hug. "Thank you, Pads! You are a life saver." she squealed. "Can you come with me tomorrow?" 

"No."

Mia frowned. "Why not?"

"Because I am not used to a muggle store and Haven has a appointment with Madam Pomfrey. Go with Savannah. She's always around muggle shops." 

Mia snorted. "Yeah sure. Remus would most definitely allow his pregnant girlfriend to go with me out there with all those deatheaters attacking almost everyone." Mia said, sarcastically. 

"You know, I actually hate the sarcastic Amy."

"I need someone to go with me."

"Why not go with Grayson tomorrow? You can owl him right now. Tell him to pick you up at Hogsmeade tomorrow." Sirius suggested, nonchalantly.

"Thank you!" Mia said before running down to her dorm.

Their dorm was barely touched by the others who slept there before, only Marlene slept there with Maven. Haven and Savannah were always slept in the dorm of the marauders', Lily was sleeping at her chambers, and Mia was sleeping at James' chambers. 

"Hello, cute couples." Mia greeted the Maven and Marlene.

"Hello, devil." Maven greeted.

"Charming." Mia sarcastically said. "I'm skipping class tomorrow. I'm going to buy some gifts. Do both of you need anything?" Mia asked, grabbing a quill and parchment.
