Chapter 56

Tae and Mr.Kim left the conference room after the meeting, walking to their car. Suddenly Tae caught happy Hyung Sik coming through the gates of the company. Mr.Kim stopped when Tae kept looking at Hyung Sik with confusion. Mr.Kim followed his gaze and mentally sighed, 'I'll be late coz of this social butterfly' he groaned.

Mr.Kim knew that Tae would get talking to Hyung Sik without any notice of time. It wasn't a problem but Mr.Kim had to urgently go back to his workplace and decided to leave Tae, "TaeTae, Appa has to go to work. If you want you can stay back and I'll send a car for you" he suggested but Tae frowned, "Then let's go back together" he said confusedly.

Mr.Kim shook his head with a smile, "Your friend is here and if you weren't such a chatter box, I would've waited for you. But knowing you, you'll need an hour at least to catch up with him. So stay, I'll send the car for you" he explained making Tae look at him with narrow eyes, "I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or an insult" he said glaring at his dad.

Mr.Kim shrugged with a smirk, "Well, it's up to you. Anyway, I'll leave now. Just call me when you're ready to go" he said and Tae nodded understanding. Mr.Kim left Tae and smiled at Hyung Sik who greeted him. Hyung Sik looked at Tae and his eyes brightened, which made Tae a little suspicious. Hyung Sik smiled at Tae from a distance.

Tae waved his hands brightly and Hyung Sik walked to him, "Hey Tae, you have time? I have something to tell you" he said excitedly and Tae nodded wordlessly, a little stunned hearing Hyung Sik's excitement. The said man smiled and held Tae's wrist, pulling him to the cafeteria, where there would be no one.

Tae silently followed Hyung Sik, very intrigued about his behavior. Jungkook today came to Namjoon's company. He had no work there but he had to meet Tae to inform him that he was leaving Korea for a match and knew Tae would be at Namjoon's workplace. So without any delay, he drove to the company and walked in.

Jungkook didn't know where to find Tae so he took out his phone, dialing Tae. He waited for Tae to pick up but he heard his ringtone somewhere near to him. Confusion filled him, he looked around to find Tae, following the ringtone. Jungkook walked to a room, which was supposed to be cafeteria and opened the door cautiously.

He looked inside and froze in his place. Pain filled his heart when he saw Tae hugging someone else who was not him. Tae heard the door opening and turned around to see Jungkook standing by the door. Shock lingered in Jungkook's eyes which Tae failed to notice. Tae was extremely happy for some reason.

Tae moved away from Hyung Sik and rushed to Jungkook to hug him out of happiness but Kook took a step back. Tae stopped in his place as he saw Jungkook moving away from him, his smile leaving his lips slowly watching Jungkook's stern face. "Kookie?" Tae called hesitatingly, wanting to know what was wrong.

But Jungkook gave him a smirk, "I should've known" he said slowly, loud enough for the males in the room to hear. Tae was now confused, an uneasy feeling churned his stomach making him gulp down the rising bile. He waited for Jungkook for talk which he did, "I should've known you were no better than those attention seekers, who go around when they don't get enough attention. You are no better than those bitches" he spat angrily.

Tae's eyes widen in shock as Hyung Sik's, who stared at Jungkook with done face. Jungkook smirked seeing Tae's face, "Why? Shocked hearing the truth from your own boyfriend? You are a such a slut-" he was cut off with a slap on his face. Tae was heaving with tears brimming in his eyes feeling heartbroken.

"How dare you?" Tae asked in shaky voice but Jungkook only scoffed staring at Tae with no emotion. Tae looked at Jungkook with disgust, "How dare you question me when you basically forgot that I was your boyfriend? That we were in a goddamn relationship. Do you even realize your words?" He asked painfully.
