Sophie had taken Jin to a karaoke, thinking that it would help Jin relax, and she was right. Sophie and Jin sang their hearts out, singing every song they found. By the time they finished, their throats were dry and voices hoarse yet they were contended. They both looked at each other, slightly panting and chuckled at each other.

"This was fun" Jin said in his hoarse voice sounding calm than before. Sophie shot him a side smile, too lazy to talk with hurting throat, feeling tired after the adrenalin rush washed out from her system. "Let's go home. We spent 4 hours singing"  Sophie said and Jin nodded with a smile, taking his coat.

They both walked back to home in silence, enjoying the cool breeze flowing by them, hitting their faces gently. Sophie glanced at Jin who had a small smile on his face, "Jinnie, I don't think I'll get a chance to tell you this tomorrow so I'm going to say it now. You are going to start a new life soon, your responsibilities, your time, your priorities are gonna change but remember one thing, no matter what happens, don't forget to live for yourself. Things will be chaotic at the beginning but it will also get better with time. I know, you didn't want this wedding, but son, take this as an opportunity to grow. Become a good husband, son in law, friend and a father. And never forget that I'll always be here when you need me, I'll cheer for you in your every step. No matter what happens, trust yourself and live a happy life" she said with a small smile.

Jin nodded slowly, he was getting emotional but held it in for Sophie's sake. He pulled her in a hug, "Thank you mom. Thank you for loving me, thank you for accepting me as your son, thank you for not leaving my side and lastly, thank you for filling the emptiness of my eomma" he whispered with a shaky voice.

Sophie smiled and patted his back, "It's all my pleasure Jinnie. And Thank you for choosing me to be your mom, though I cannot completely take your eomma's place, I'm still thankful that you chose me as your mom" she said sniffling. Jin couldn't hold it anymore and sniffled loudly, "I'm going to miss you. So much." he said tightening the hug.

Sophie chuckled a little, "Now don't challenge me young man, I'm sure I'm going to miss you more" she said and Jin laughed a little moving away from her. Sophie smiled and wiped his tears, "I want to see you smiling like this, bright as a star, always" she said with a motherly smile and Jin nodded making Sophie happy. After the little emotional talk, they both made their way back home.

Sophie entered first followed by Jin, both with peaceful expressions. They were about to make their way to their rooms when a voice stopped them. Jin gulped a little while Sophie shut her eyes, not expecting her husband to be back home early. "Where were you both?" HyunJae asked from the couch, staring at them with strict eyes.

Jin slowly turned while Sophie quickly spun around and looked at him, "We had some last minute shopping, so we went to get that done" she smoothly lied and HyunJae dumbly fell for it, nodding his head. He looked at Jin, "I want to talk to you, meet me outside" he said and stood up, walking out. Jin looked at Sophie worriedly but Sophie gave an encouraging pat and urged him to go.

Jin went out where his father asked him to come. He slowly walked to him and silently stood behind HyunJae, not making a sound. HyunJae was aware of Jin standing behind him, he had heard his footsteps coming, "Tomorrow is your wedding. I just want to ask you for one favor Jin, can you do that?" He asked still not looking at Jin and staring ahead.

Jin frowned and stared at his father's back. He didn't expect his father to ask favors and it was really a shock that his father was even talking to him. He nodded, forgetting that HyunJae had his back towards him, "Yes father" he answered in a timid voice and finally Hyunjae glanced over his shoulder, looking at Jin.
