Chapter 43

Chang Ho dragged Namjoon and Yoongi away from HyunJae before they could even create a scene or kill HyunJae. He knew the boys were burning with rage and fury but anger always kills the senses and he knew it was best if they left. Chang Ho asked Jiae to come to the car, who was confused.

Jiae bid goodbye to her friends and left. Nobody spoke on the way and Chang Ho chose to drive the car since he was the only one who was sane enough at the moment. Yoongi wanted to punch HyunJae so bad while Namjoon only wanted to kill him. They all reached the hotel and Chang Ho kept an eye on the boys in case they ran back to HyunJae.

He was a bit cautious and very careful coz the boys weren't yelling or anything, instead, they were calm and composed which was even more dangerous. Their calmness only meant terror for HyunJae and Chang Ho didn't want the boys to get involved in any sort of controversies, not when they just started their lives.

He opened the door of his room and only pointed in, signaling the boys to get in. Namjoon rolled his eyes and walked in arrogantly, passing through Chang Ho who only sighed mentally before looking at Yoongi, who seemed deep in thoughts. Chang Ho patted his back, giving a small smile and sent Yoongi in, followed by Jiae and him.

Chang Ho shut the door and turned around, instantly met with the questioning eyes of Jiae and angry eyes of Namjoon. He sighed and walked to the chair, massaging his temples. Jiae looked at all the men in the room, feeling lost, "Can someone enlighten me on what's happening?" she asked to no one in particular.

Yoongi leaned to the wall, pinching the bridge of his nose while Namjoon was flaring and Chang Ho was done. Frowning deeply, Jiae scoffed, "Some one of you better start talking before I make you all talk" she warned, crossing her arms across her chest with a stern face. Yoongi glanced at Jiae,who was already glaring at him.

Yoongi internally panicked and shrugged his shoulder, like he too was waiting for the answers. Chang Ho cleared his throat, ready to talk but Namjoon beat him, "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked calmly, though Chang Ho knew he could burst any minute now. Chang Ho raised an eyebrow, "Why didn't he tell you?" He asked back, pressing on 'He'.

Namjoon grit his teeth, "I don't care about him, I'm more surprised that you out of all, didn't tell me" he exclaimed and Chang Ho frowned, "What would have you done if you knew? Save him? Hide him? You got that chance and you hurt him more than anyone" he yelled angrily. Namjoon and everyone were taken aback by Chang Ho's words.

Namjoon looked down, clenching his fists, "Does mom and hyung know about it?" He asked, barely keeping his anger at bay. Chang Ho didn't answer but his eyes subconsciously traveled to Yoongi, who had a straight face. Namjoon looked up when he didn't get an answer, he noticed Chang Ho's gaze and followed it.

His eyes fell on Yoongi and his whole world stopped. He turned to Yoongi with open mouth, "You knew about it?" He asked in disbelief and Yoongi sighed, nodding ever so slowly, feeling a bit bad for hiding it. Namjoon ran fingers through his locks, "Wow! My father and brother knew about my husband/best friend getting abused and didn't think it was important to tell me" he said mockingly.

Jiae's eyes widen and gasped, covering her mouth with her hand. She never knew Jin was getting abused in his own home. She looked at Yoongi and Chang Ho, who held defeated expression, "Jin was getting abused?" She asked in confirmation but nobody answered, making her pissed, "Answer me, was Jin getting abused?" She asked and Chang Ho nodded.

Jiae stumbled back noticing Chang Ho's nod but Yoongi was quick to hold her. Namjoon groaned, "Why didn't you tell me? I could've pulled him out of that shit hole, way before the wedding" he said slowly, this time his voice held sadness. Yoongi looked at Namjoon, "It wasn't our news to tell Namjoon-ah. He didn't want anybody to disrespect his father" he answered.
