Namjoon walked back to the his office after seeing Jimin and Jungkook off. He never imagined Jin to be so close to him yet so far. First time ever in his life he felt so far away to reach out to his best friend. Sighing deeply, he entered his cabin and shut the door lazily, mind full of thoughts of Jin. He was surrounded with thoughts that were absurd.

First, he was wondering how was Jin alive. If he was alive all this time, then who was the person that died and how were Jin's things found? Second, where was he all these years? Third, did he not miss them all, his parents, his friends, him? It was all so confusing to him, he groaned at the headache coming.

Namjoon wanted answers. He needed them so bad, so that he could peacefully sleep at night. He knew, Jin would never talk to him, hell, after how he behaved with Tae outside, he wasn't sure if Jin would listen to him. He had noticed how Jin didn't even spare a glance to him or anyone, which hurt his broken heart even more.

Yoongi's words kept playing in his head, asking him to do something but what? What could he do? It wasn't like he could go and directly talk to Jin or anyone close to him. It wasn't so easy. He sighed again, ignoring the work that was piling up with the time. He huffed and shook his head, "Fuck this! I won't think anymore" he said, getting pissed.

The rest of the day, Namjoon tried, keyword tried, to forget Jin and a way to talk to him, but nothing worked. With every minute and every second, he started missing Jin even more. He whined like a baby, putting his head down, "Get out of my head God dammit" he groaned angrily. He wasn't sure if his anger was directed to Jin or himself.

Not giving a fuck about anyone, he left the office, wanting to be alone for a while. He didn't glance at anyone in the office, who tried to talk to him and simply kept walking out of the office. Every employee looked at each other and shrugged, letting the matter off. They knew that Namjoon was a good man but he could also be their worst nightmares if needed.

Namjoon got into his car and banged the door shut. He started the car and rushed out of the company driving at the high speed. He drove like a crazy person, overtaking every vehicle in his way. He didn't know where to go, he just wanted to forget Jin and everything related to him.

His eyes fell on a place and he abruptly took a turn in that direction, thinking it could help him. The place where he could really be himself, the place where he challenged everyone that belittled him or hated him. The place where people really respected him and also are scared of him, "Underground Rap battle".

Jin left Sophie's house after an hour, after he got a call from furious Ami. Jin had forgotten about the company and his duties which Ami reminded him in not so pleasant way. Jin drove back to the company in a better mood than he was after the meeting with the Kim's. He walked inside the company, nodding at everyone who greeted him.

He got into the lift and pressed the button to the floor where his cabin was. The life stopped with a ding and Jin got off with a monotone glance, not wanting to appear suspicious to where he had been. He walked to his cabin but stopped in front of Ami's desk, who looked at him with questioning eyes.

He gave a knowing smirk and shook his head with a teasing smile before leaving her amused. "Did he hit his head on a wall?" She asked herself when she saw Jin smile at her. Sighing deeply, she shook her head, "Let's focus on our work Ami, he is a crazy man who cannot be helped" she said and nodded with determination, going back to her work.

Jin sat on his chair and let out a relieved sigh, "It was nice talking to her. I should meet her more often" he said and smiled getting back to his professional mode. He opened the file and started working when the door to his cabin opened. Jin knew who it was. Out of the whole company, the only person who had the guts to barge in without knocking.

And it was none other than Ami. She would never knock and simply barge in unless Jin was with someone. Jin sighed but didn't look up, "Ms.Ami, how many times do I have to tell you to knock before coming in?" He asked still not looking at her. Ami rolled her eyes, "Oh please, why would I knock when I practically live here" she said sassily.

Jin put the pen down and rubbed his forehead, "You're lucky you're my sister or else I would've kicked you out of here long back" he said but Ami lazily waved her hand, "Yeah, yeah. I'd like to see you try" she challenged and Jin had a hard time not to blow up. Ami mentally snickered, she enjoyed getting on Jin's nerves.

Before they could continue and turn a beautiful cabin into a battleground, Sejin stepped in. Both Jin and Ami wondered if Sejin was eavesdropping to stop them before they started fighting. Sejin looked in between them, "I think I came at the right time" he said smiling contended. Jin sighed, "What happened hyung?" He asked tiredly.

Sejin stepped in closer, "Where is your phone?" He asked and Jin frowned checking his pockets. He found it and quickly took it out, checking if he had missed calls. His eyes widen when he saw SiHyuk's 11 missed calls. Jin called back, trying not to tremble in panic. He thought of worst situations happened to Sihyuk.

Jin hoped that it wasn't like he was thinking, blaming that he wasn't there for him, cursing himself. Ami frowned worriedly and looked at Sejin who gave a little smile and looked at Jin who looked like he was close to crying. Thankfully, Sihyuk picked the call and Jin shot him with continuous question, not giving a second for Sihyuk to talk.

Sihyuk asked Jin to stop and sit down, aware of how obedient Jin was. Ami couldn't stop herself and snatched phone from Jin's hand ignoring his death glares, "Dad, are you okay? Please tell me you're not in the hospital" she begged close to tears and Sihyuk didn't know if he should laugh or get angry.

Sihyuk was totally fine, he just was worried about Jin, knowing he was meeting his past. Sihyuk calmly explained Ami that he was completely fine and he just wanted to talk to Jin. Ami sighed and nagged at him a little, to take care of himself or she would come back to Singapore and lock him in the home until he gets better.

Sihyuk promised and Ami handed the phone back to Jin who was glaring at her, Ami rolled her eyes and left the cabin. Sejin smiled mentally, seeing the pair of siblings worried about Sihyuk. Jin got talking to Sihyuk, receiving a little scolding and some threats if he doesn't answer his phone.

Jin got a little suspicious to why Sihyuk got worried and wanted to ask him about it but since Sejin was right in front of him, he couldn't ask, making a note to ask Sihyuk later. Jin discussed about the proposal they got from the collaboration and Sihyuk asked him to make a judgment.

Jin was certain that they would get a good profit, the project had no loopholes in it but maybe his personal life started meddling in his profession that Jin tried hard to find some flaw. Sihyuk explained him that if they got the deal, then they could have good scope of increasing their business in Korea as well.

Jin thought a lot about Sihyuk's advise and finally decided to agree on the deal. He called Ami in after sending Sejin back and asked her to read the files of the project from the Park's and Kim's to read properly. Ami only nodded and got to do the work, very impressed with how clean the deal was which was a bit unsettling for Jin.

She read and explained Jin that the deal seemed to be genuine and there was no flaws. Jin sighed, feeling a bit dejected and nodded, "We'll talk to them tomorrow and give them confirmation from our side" he said and Ami nodded, writing it down. The whole day passed just like that of them both working.

By the end, the pair was exhausted, especially Jin, he was more than exhausted from all the thinking he did to find a way to back out from the project. Having no other way out, he accepted his fate, only hoping to not cross paths with the people he started despising. Ami who was unknown to his turmoil, thought Jin was over reacting.

Only if she knew what big storm was waiting for them both. Only if she knew what Jin was going to face, only if she knew how everything was going to change for them. Maybe it was for the best or the worst, nobody knows, but the changes were certain to happen. The changes that were going to be difficult to accept for many people.
