Jin was in his room, blankly staring ahead. He didn't know what to feel, if he should scream or if he should cry. His every dream, goal, motivation felt slipping from his hand. He didn't know whom was he getting married to, was it someone he knew or was it a stranger? Will he be happy? He didn't know how to convince his parents.

One time, just one time he wanted to make his dad proud of him. But it seems like his fate had something else written for him. He sat in the same spot, not moving when Jungkook and Sophie knocked on his door, asking him to talk to them. He chuckled bitterly, "There's nothing left to talk" he said to himself, feeling pathetic.

The whole night, Jin sat in the same place, not sleeping even a wink, too lost in his thoughts. The morning came so did his anxiousness. The reality started slowly sinking into his head, making him a nervous wreck. Sophie couldn't help but feel a bit scared seeing Jin not step out of his room from previous night.

Unable to stand it anymore, she opened the door with a spare key and stepped it. She found Jin sitting on his bed staring at nothing and let out an inaudible sigh. Jin still didn't seem to notice someone's presence in his room, neither did he care about anything it. Sophie carefully sat next to Jin, running her hand on his head. Jin turned to look at her and Sophie's heart broke at the sight of Jin.

The boy who was strong from all these years suddenly looked all weak. He wasn't crying nor did he have a frown, he just had a blank face. Sophie brought his head to her chest, humming a melody which she often used to sing to put him sleep. Jin felt the vibrations from her chest and let out a sob, "I don't want to get married" he said struggling to form a sentence.

Sophie shushed him, lulling him to sleep knowing that Jin didn't sleep last night. She continued humming until Jin fell asleep, slowly she put him on the bed and kissed his forehead. "I'm sorry Jinnie. I'm a useless mother. I can't even help you, I'm so sorry" she whispered kissing his forehead guiltily. She stared at Jin's calm face, hoping to see him so peaceful every time but only if she knew what future held for him.

She caressed his hair for a long time, wanting to spend most of the time with him. In the afternoon, Jungkook peeked in Jin's room to check on him, very worried for his hyung but when he saw his hyung sleeping like a baby in his mother's embrace, he sighed in relief. He watched them for a few seconds and retreated back to him room.

The whole day, he kept thinking about Jin, ignoring Tae and Jimin. He didn't want to tell them about the wedding yet. Once it was confirmed, they would be invited to wedding anyway. He rubbed his face frustratedly, stressed by everything happening, he laid down on his bed, "Why can't he be happy? Why is he suffering?" He said slowly.

Not having answers for his questions, he sighed and turned to his side, facing the window. Tired from all the thoughts, he fell asleep and woke up when his mom came in to remind him about the dinner. With a heavy heart, he got dressed, not trying to look good but his looks still made him handsome. He walked down and saw his dad waiting for them, reading a newspaper.

Debating with himself if he should try to talk to him and change his mind, Jungkook decided to give it a shot. He walked to his dad and stood in front of him a little far away, "Father?" He called and HyunJae looked from the newspaper, "Oh! You're ready. Let's wait for your mom and hyung" he said going back to reading. Jungkook bit his lips, "Why are you forcing Hyung to get married?" he asked with a sad face but HyunJae sighed.

"I'm his father, I know what's best for him. Marriage is the right option, he wouldn't do anything for shit, why waste time and space doing nothing?" He said sternly and Jungkook grit his teeth, "You sure you're his father? I don't remember you acting like a father to hyung. He has brain to decide what's best for him, he can-" he was cut off by his mother.
