Chapter 65

Yoongi took IU to the doctor and let her talk to him alone while he walked back to his family. He was pleasantly surprised seeing his old friend after such a long time. He liked her, not romantically but like a person, she was straight forward and did not tolerate any bullshit like those other attention seeing people.

Yoongi simply sat next to Namjoon, not uttering a word to anyone. He was tired, tired of thinking ways to help his nephew. He had almost given up on the hope of saving Yeosang but after seeing IU, he felt a a ray of hope raising in him, maybe, just maybe, she could help the little boy from the pain and torture. His thoughts revolved around Yeosang and IU.

Jin was almost sure that IU will save Yeosang, he knew it was obnoxious of him to not trust the other doctors but he didn't trust anyone other than whom he knew, after what happened years ago. Jin was waiting for IU to come back with a good news, to tell him that there was still a way to help Yeosang. He was rooting on her.

Namjoon on the other hand, watched Jin anxiously waiting, he didn't understand for whom though. He didn't show it but he did feel a tinge of jealousy in his heart when Jin hugged the pretty woman. If Namjoon wasn't Jinsexual, he was sure he would have fallen for the woman, but he was only open for Jin and nobody else.

He and Jimin were on the same boat, both were filled with jealousy but one showed it and the other was burning inside. Namjoon sighed and went to the vending machine to get a drink to calm his nerves, he failed to notice another person following him. Namjoon took his drink and turned around, gasping a little.

Jimin stood behind him with cold eyes, scaring Namjoon a little. Namjoon felt lost seeing Jimin in front of him and looked around awkwardly before moving a little, allowing Jimin to get a drink. While Jimin was busy getting a drink, Namjoom didn't know if he should stay or leave. Sighing, he decided to leave, he wanted to be alone.

Jimin glanced at Namjoon from the corner of his eyes, when he heard Namjoon sigh. If he wasn't burning in anger and jealousy, Jimin would've spoken to Namjoon but the timing was wrong for both of them and Jimin let Namjoon be. He saw Namjoon walking away to which he shrugged and walked to the garden, to clear his head.

The bright sky was turning into beautiful pink and purple shade, indicating the sun going to sleep and a relaxed sigh left Jimin's mouth. He saw birds flying and thought of his home, which was a big apartment filled with nothing but emptiness. A few years ago, Jimin decided to move out of his parents house for many reasons.

One of them being guilt. He felt guilty whenever his parents praised him for being a good son and a human, which he believed was wrong, he felt like he was anything but a good human. Jimin was lost without anybody his side. He refused to look out for the people that were once his best friends, his shame was too high to pretend like he did nothing wrong.

All these years, Jimin lived in guilt and in pain, pain of being lonely. He was punishing himself for what he did by being all alone, which he hated the most. But now, he was used to it. He didn't want or expect anybody to come to him or to even talk to him, he believed he was fine this way. Sad sigh left his lips as he sipped his drink.

Jimin didn't see Namjoon coming to him and sit next to him, which made Jimin flinch a little. But he pretended he didn't know Namjoon and stared at the front, observing the view. Namjoon too enjoyed the silence, helping him gather himself before he went back in. Both the boys let out a deep sigh at the same time and glanced at each other.

Namjoon and Jimin stared at each other few seconds and smiled lazily, rolling their eyes. "Why are you out here?" Namjoon asked staring in the front, thinking it was his duty to check on his dongseng. Jimin pursed his lips, "Just wanted to clear my head. What about you, why did you come out?" Jimin asked, not looking at Namjoon.
