Chapter 42

As everyone got separated from the group where Hyunjae was exposed, people who knew him started talking about him. It suddenly was a hot topic spreading like a forest fire but fortunately, Jin's name wasn't revealed. Apparently nobody remembers him being the eldest son of HyunJae. But those who knew were shocked.

Tae heard his dad talking to somebody, trying to explain what actually happened. Tae rolled his eyes, he didn't want any more drama in Jin's life but then it wasn't in his hands to stop something which was going around in the air. He just mentally sighed hoping Kook's family were fine.

He looked around bored of standing in a place for long, trying to look for his boyfriend. When he first saw Kook in the party, he felt betrayed. It was like being thrown in the cold lake when he saw Jungkook looking at him but didn't try to talk to him. He was sad but definitely not surprised, it was all like a routine to him now. But each time, it did hurt.

Shrugging those thoughts off, he tried to look for Kook to talk to him. Even if he was getting cold shoulder from his boyfriend, he still loved him. When there was no sight of him, he pouted but his eyes fell on Jimin, who was standing with his father, looking done. He chuckled silently seeing Jimin, "He's just like me, we are soulmates" he muttered to himself.

After Jimin had confessed about his mistake, Jimin tried to stay away from him and Jungkook. Sure, Jungkook had threatened him but he never held anything against Jimin. He was sure there must be something that pushed Jimin to take that step. He tried to talk to Jimin many times but got pushed away. In those years, Tae felt lonely.

He lost his boyfriend and best friends at the same time. Not knowing why was he being punished, Tae felt heart broken but he still hoped for a good time, where he and his best friends get back together like in the past. Tae felt lonely when he saw the other actors/model friends get visits by their friends on the set.

Tae was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't see Jimin looking at him with worried eyes. Jimin felt someone's eyes on him and turned around to find who was staring at him. He sneakily looked in the crowd and saw Tae looking at him with lost eyes. Suddenly worry clouded him, wondering if Tae was alright.

His feet were itching to go to Tae and talk to him but he still hadn't forgiven himself and thought maybe others didn't forgive him as well. He didn't know how every blamed themselves giving no room to blame Jimin alone. Jimin sighed frustrated, times like these he wanted to cheer his soulmate but he couldn't.

Contemplating if he should go talk to Tae, take a chance and test his luck. He turned to his father when he heard his name and found everyone looking at him with smile. He frowned a little and looked at his dad, who only rolled his eyes, "They are asking how have you been working" he said pointing at the people.

Jimin smiled professionally, telling that he was working hard. The men all soon left and Jimin's dad sighed, "I'm tired of talking and smiling. I just want to sleep now" he complained. Jimin shook his head, "I told you not to get excited seeing people, this is what happens at the end" he pointed out and Jimin's dad glared at him playfully.

"Are you calling me old?" Mr.Park asked and Jimin smirked, "Glad you caught the point" he teased. Jimin's dad playfully scolded Jimin and he just sighed mentally, 'How is he the owner of Park groups' he thought judging his father. Jimin's dad and mom always felt guilty for not spending time with their son in his young age.

It was their work that kept them away and that was also the reason that Jimin joined the company. Both the parents thought it was a good idea to make Jimin join the company. That way he could learn to handle the business and also stay with them. At first Jimin didn't understand but as time went he knew that his parents too missed him like he did.
