Chapter 30

The news made everyone panic. It was a chaos. They all drove to the hospital with anxiousness. Worry clouding their minds thinking of the worst cases that could happen but they all still tried to be positive and hopes it wasn't anything serious. Only if they knew what a big surprise were they in for.

Yoongi, Namjoon, Tae, Kook and Jimin ran in like mad people followed by others. The nurses asked them to follow her. Yoongi held Sophie, who looked like she could collapse any minute. Jiae and Chang Ho kept following the boys, not wanting to be behind. Jiae bit her lips seeing Yoongi care for Sophie, regretting for pushing him away.

They all reached the floor where Jin was kept and waited for the doctor, who was in charge of Jin. The nurse returned with doctor, who sent the nurse away and looked at group of people with worried faces. The doctor sighed a little and looked at them, "You all are Mr.Kim's family?" He asked and they all nodded eagerly.

The doctor took his glasses off and looked at them apologetically. "We got a call from someone telling that there was an accident near XX circle (which was close to Yoongi's house). We reached the site and there was a car crashed with a person in it and Mr.Kim, out on the road. The driver seemed to be drunk and hit Mr.Kim, with his car but tried to manage it which resulting him hitting the near by tree" he paused looking at the family.

Clasping his hands in front of him, he resumed, "The car burst in to flames from the crash which killed the driver and Mr.Kim. I'm sorry to inform you all that Mr.Kim is no more" he said sadly bowing down in condolence. Sophie froze in her place, putting all her weight on Yoongi, who was still processing the news.

Chang Ho took in a sharp breath with wide eyes and Jiae gasped, clasping hand over her mouth. HyunJae stumbled, holding the wall to stand. Jungkook stared at the doctor with no emotion but Jimin and Tae were already sobbing. Namjoon shook his head in denial, "How-wha-" he started but couldn't talk.

He was too shaken up to form a proper sentence, feeling a knot stuck in his throat. Jungkook pulled the doctor by his collar, "Tell me you're fucking kidding. This is all a sick joke. My hyung can't die. He can't leave us" he yelled at the doctor who seemed to be unfazed by such behavior.

The doctor stared sadly not answering Jungkook again. Kook pushed him away and raked his fingers through his hair, trying to stop his sobs. Namjoon looked down at his feet thinking it was a nightmare, "Wake up Namjoon, it's a dream. Its a nightmare wake up. Jin is alive. It's all happening in your dream" he muttered to himself hoping he was still asleep.

Jiae was sobbing guiltily with Jimin, who was regretting for whatever he did to his hyung, to his friend. Tae walked to Kook and looked at him. "Kookie" he called softly and Kook looked at him with a broken face, "Tae, baby tell me this is not true. This doctor is lying" he asked desperately holding on to Tae, who just shook his head sobbing.

Kook pushed him away, "NO, YOU'RE LYING. MY HYUNG IS ALIVE" he screamed furiously, with tears continuously pouring out of his eyes. Jungkook fell down on his knees sobbing loudly when no body said anything. Sophie didn't cry nor react to anything. She just stood blankly staring in air, tuning out everyone's cries.

Yoongi bit his lips and blinked his tears away, holding on to Sophie. Sophie pushed Yoongi's hands away from her and turned around facing Jiae who was crying. Sophie smirked at her, "Why are you crying? Weren't you asking him to die? Look, he's dead. Gone forever" she said coldly, making Jiae look down ashamed.

Sophie chuckled shaking her head in disbelief, "He's gone like you all asked for. Now why are you faking your concern over him? Shouldn't you be happy now? You got your son back" she asked looking at her with a smile.
"My Jinnie got your son back to you Mrs.Kim. He kept his promise but at the cost of his own life" she said with her voice cracking.
