Chapter 25

Days passed by and it was already a month with still no news of Namjoon. Jin had been searching for him with all his power but it seemed like he disappeared in thin air. There was no clue or no signs of him being close to them. Yoongi and Chang Ho also tried to find Namjoon but they weren't reaching anywhere.

Jiae got harsher with time. She left no opportunity to belittle Jin and showed no mercy to him. Chang Ho had tried to make Jiae understand that she was blaming the poor boy for no reason but her love for her missing son overpowered her senses and refused to forgive Jin. She didn't care of Jin and always put him down.

Sophie was caged in her house. HyunJae after retuning from Jin's place, tried to help Kim's them find Namjoon but later, like a switch, something snapped in his head and he conditioned Sophie that if she left the house to go help Jin, then he would never take her back. When Jin heard this he forced his mom to stay back.

Jimin and Tae tried their best to help Jin but they couldn't do much. Jin was still thankful for them even though there were no results. Slowly one by one, everyone left his side and blamed him for forcing Namjoon to run away. Yoongi and Chang Ho though always stood by Jin just like Tae, who always argued with Kook for not believing in Jin.

Jungkook respected Namjoon. He looked up to him and tried to follow his footsteps. Hearing the news of his hyung, he couldn't bare it and blamed Jin for it. After all, Jin was the one who lived with Namjoon. His conscience always made him guilty looking at Jin's eyes which showed betrayal but he shrugged it off.

He wouldn't trash Jin like Jiae but he wouldn't even stand for him when he sees Jin getting yelled at. HyunJae never turned to ask Jin if he needed help, though Jin didn't really expect much from his father but it still was painful to see his own family standing against him when he needed them the most.

A week after Namjoon disappearance, Jin was suspiciously kicked out of his office. He wasn't given any strong reason but Jin knew better, Namjoon's parents, especially his mom had the power. He accepted his forced resignation but didn't complain, there was nothing to complain about. He simply accepted what was happening.

Jiae did everything to torture Jin thinking that he forced her son. Her plans were unknown to Chang Ho and Yoongi and Jin was glad about that. He didn't want them to fight because of him. Yoongi though found out and his anger rose for Jiae. He started spending less time with her and Jiae didn't care for his less appearance.

Chang Ho was getting stressed. He was more than worried for Namjoon and his company being one of the top companies slowly started loosing that position from his hands. Yoongi tried to help as much he could but they still couldn't manage to keep it at top. It was turning into a nightmare for both the families.

Jiae everyday visited to Jin's place, hoping that Namjoon would return. But it was all her hopes. The past month she regularly would barge in at the earliest and stay till late night, waiting for Namjoon. Jin didn't have a problem with that, he even offered Jiae to move in instead of coming in every day.

Jiae scoffed at him, mocking him for his care. Jin left Jiae, allowing him to do as she likes. Jiae had freezed Jin's and Namjoon's shared bank account so that Jin wouldn't use the money that Namjoon deposited. Jin couldn't even use the money that he owned. But he didn't argue and tried to find jobs to survive.

Jin went through all the struggles all over again, but this time it was more than earlier. They would make him sit for hours but would send him away telling that he didn't qualify. Having no other option, he tried to find part time jobs in cafe's and other places. Yoongi and Sophie tried to help him but Jin refused.

He didn't want to be useless and wanted to live on his own money like a respectful person. Yoongi knew the reason Jin wasn't getting a job even though he had the exact qualities that a candidate must need. It was all because of Jiae, she had used her fame and bribed those people to not accept Jin.
