Chapter 59

It was a day after Taekook talked and got back together. It was also a weekend. Jin and Ami were in their own company, working. Jin had a lot on his mind, the talk he had with Namjoon, the work load, Ami's suspicious behavior, it was getting too much for him. Not to forget, how bad he missed Sophie, unable to meet her for weeks.

Today Jin wasn't so energetic and it spread like a virus, making Ami slouch too. The siblings were dreading to finish the work and get some rest. Jin was restless, he just wanted to disappear from the office but its easy said than done. Jin sighed, "Ami!" He called the girl who lazily dragged her feet in Jin's cabin, "What?" She asked bored.

Jin licked his lips, "Let's take a day off" he suggested and a frown decorated on her delicate facial features, "I mean, that's a good idea but dad will whoop our asses" she said and Jin groaned, "I'll try to convince dad but if he still doesn't agree then let's use our hidden card" he said smirking wickedly at the end, which made Ami's eyes widen.

Ami gulped but nodded anyway, giving into Jin's idea. She didn't know why but she didn't feel like doing anything. Jin quickly fetched his phone and dialed Bang Sihyuk, hoping he and Ami can get the rest of the day off. Bang Sihyuk picked his call and Jin tried his best to convince his dad, feeling like a teenager who wanted to go out to a club.

Bang Sihyuk agreed to give the day off and Jin jumped up from his seat in happiness, hugging Ami, who squealed knowing they were free. Soon Jin and Ami were rushing out of the company, telling Sejin NOT to call them if anything happens, which confused the man but nonetheless nodded.

Jin and Ami walked to the car and Jin drove to their home buzzing in happiness. Jin suddenly had a thought but he was hesitant. He decided to talk to Ami about it and glanced at her, "Ami, can I ask you for a favor?" He asked and Ami nodded, too happy to notice his nervousness. Jin hoped Ami would agree to his idea and decided to try.

"I'm going out. I won't be home back till tomorrow, will you be fine alone or do you want to stay with Hobi?" He asked and Ami snapped her neck towards Jin, "What? Where are you going?" She asked surprised and Jin sighed, gripping the wheel before answering her. "You remember the woman we met in Japan?" He asked slowly and Ami nodded with a frown.

Jin pursed his lips seeing her nod and waited for her to use her brain which she did and let out an Aaahhhh in realization, "You want to meet her? Sure, go ahead and I think I'll be fine alone" she replied casually and Jin heaved a sigh of relief. He gave her a side smile, thankful that she was being considerate, "Thank you. But if you want then I can cancel-" he was cut off by Ami.

"No, You don't have to worry about me. I'm not a kid. I can take care of myself" she said whining a little and Jin nodded, "Sure, if that makes you sleep at night" he shrugged teasing her a little and before Ami could respond to his comment, Jin pulled up to their home. Jin smirked seeing Ami grumble under her breath from his peripheral vision.

Jin dashed inside and ran to his room, packing clothes and his other necessities for the next day. He came out of his room in 30 mins and walked to Ami's room, opening the door a little when he heard her. "I'm leaving. Call me if something happens or if you need anything. Okay?" He said and Ami nodded with a smile, "Don't worry, I'll call you if needed" she said.

Jin nodded and walked close to her, pecking her forehead, "See you soon. Bye" He said and left. Jin informed the maid about him not returning home and requesting to inform him if something happens. The maid assured that she will and Jin left his home with a light heart, happy to see Sophie after so long, driving off.

Jin excitedly drove and soon reached Sophie's place. He collected his bag and walked to the door, knocking lightly, not wanting to startle Sophie. He waited patiently for Sophie to open the door and when she opened the door, Jin smiled prettily at her. "Oh my! Jinnie" she cooed pulling Jin into hug.
