Chapter 74

Jin returned back home with fluttering heart and gooey body. He was still in daze from the kisses Namjoon gave, making his knees and heart weak. He shut the door of his room with his back and leaned on the door, placing his palm over his racing, "Ugh, it feels like I ran a marathon for 2 hours. Why is it beating so fast now?" He muttered breathless.

Trying to wake up, he slapped his face lightly, shaking his head, "Wake up Jin, don't act like some teenager now. You're a man, a cool man" he said to himself and nodded confidently, walking to his closet, taking his clothes and went to take a shower. He did his night routine, definitely not grinning or blushing and jumped on his bed with his face first.

He sighed deeply, snuggling his face in the pillow tiredly, "Today was eventful" he said with a small smile and turned to lay properly on his back. He shut the lights and stared at the ceiling in the darkness. He wouldn't deny that he wasn't feeling good but at the same time he was hesitant, wondering if he did the right thing letting Namjoon come close.

Shrugging his thoughts, he decided to believe in Namjoon. After all, like Mrs.Han said, everybody deserves a second chance and both Namjin also did too. Slowly, he drifted off to sleep, hoping that everything will change from now on and he'll be happy. Unknown to the plan Namjoon had in his mind that would pleasantly change few things in his life.

The next morning, he woke up by the alarm ringing in his ear and quickly got ready for the office. He did his things and walked out of his room, not forgetting to bang on Ami's door to wake her up. He went down to the dining table and found the maid making breakfast. He greeted politely and the maid frowned, "Mr.Bang, when did you come back last night?" She asked softly.

Jin scratched his nape, "I got late due to some work." He said and the maid nodded, "Oh alright, did Ami come with you?" She asked and now Jin frowned, "Ami wasn't with me. We parted our ways yesterday evening and I haven't seen her since then" he answered, watching the maid pale, "Ami, she didn't come back" she answered in shock.

Jin quickly dashed to Ami's room, turned the knob and opened the door finding it empty. His breath got caught in his throat and fished out his phone, trying not to panic. He called Ami but the said girl didn't pick up his call, making Jin curse under his breath, 'Holy fuck, where are you Ami?' He thought, calling her again and again. After good 5 calls, someone picked up the phone.

Jin kept calling Ami and a groggy male's voice spoke, "Who is this?" they asked, confusing Jin. Jin frowned, "Hoseok?" He asked and the male on the other side hummed, "Yes" he answered sleepily and Jin sighed in relief, "Where is Ami?" He asked and Hoseok yawned, "Sleeping" he answered in one word making Jin fume in worry and anger.

Jin grit his teeth, "I know that dumbass, why didn't she come back home yesterday?" He asked angrily and Hoseok yawned getting his senses back. He checked who was on the call and gasped loudly with eyes widening, "HYUNG!" Hobi screeched making Jin push the phone away, wincing at the loudness. "Hyung, Ami is fine. Don't worry." he said quickly.

Jin sighed deeply, "I figured that but why is she with you? Why didn't she come back home? Did you both something last night? If that's the case then I'm coming for your ass Jung Hoseok" Jin said ready to kill Hoseok but Hobi shook his head in panic, forgetting that he was on call. He didn't realize that his loudness woke up the sleeping girl.

She snatched phone from Hoseok, "Yah! Can't you see the time? It's still early? Why are you annoying me so early in the morning?" She yelled in the phone. And like that, the siblings started bickering like tom and jerry which made the maid and Hoseok face palm. Hoseok pulled the phone from Ami, telling Jin that he would drop her directly at the company.
