Chapter 62

Jin dropped Jiae off and left to his company, grumbling on his way about Namjoon. Subconsciously, he had slipped back to the past where Namjoon would break things because of his clumsiness. By the time he realized what was he talking about, Jin felt his heart dropping to his stomach.

How hard it was to forget the person close to your heart. Jin let out a distressed sigh, mentally cursing himself for talking about Namjoon. Jin took a few minutes to clear his head of Namjoon and walked in the company. The receptionist stopped him, "Excuse me, sir".

Jin looked at her blankly, "Yes Miss?" He asked and the receptionist blushed a little but quickly composed herself, "There is a person waiting in your office. They are from some news channel it seems. I asked them to wait till you return but Ms.Bang told me to let them go" she informed. Jin frowned but nodded.

"I see, no problem, you can continue with your work" he said with a little smile which erupted butterflies in the receptionist's stomach. Jin walked back to his office, thinking about the reporter. He was a little doubtful if he did something controversial but nothing came to his mind. He walked out of the lift to his office.

Ami stood up seeing Jin and rushed to him, "There is a reporter inside. He is here to take your interview" she said slowly. Jin was confused, "Why?" he asked and Ami shrugged, "He didn't tell that, you should ask him. But you should give them an interview, it'll be good for the company and also people will recognize you" she said.

Jin hummed, "Let's see. Oh by the way, next time ask me if to let anyone in my office" he said flicking her forehead. Ami groaned, "Aish! Yah! What the hell? I was just helping you. This all will come in the papers and magazines you imbecile" she seethed but Jin pushed her aside and walked into his office seeing a young man waiting for him.

Jin smiled professionally, "Hello, I'm Bang Seokjin, CEO of BigHit" he introduced himself, extending his hand. The reporter shook his hand, "Hello, I'm Kang SooHo, it's a pleasure to meet you" he said and Jin smiled, "Like wise. Please take a seat" he said pointing at the couch. SooHo sat down opposite to Jin, ready to talk.

"I think your secretary must've told you why am I here." SooHo started and Jin nodded, "Yes, I was told you wanted an interview, can I know why?" He asked and the reporter nodded, "Well, everyone knows that you won the award of best CEO at such a young age. We wanted to take an interview, where you can talk about your self and motivate the youth to be like you" he explained.

Jin heard everything, "But I wasn't the only one who won the award. Mr.Kim Namjoon was also a recipient of that award, why didn't you contact him?" He asked and the reporter chuckled, "We did, Mr.Bang. My colleague went to talk to him. Like I said, you both are the hot topic right now and we think it'll be a good opportunity for you to publicize yourself and your company" he ended with a smile.

Jin smirked, "Nice try to convince me for an interview. I must tell, I'm moved hearing your words" he said with a teasing undertone and the reporter slightly felt nervous, thinking he made Jin mad. Jin chuckled, "I didn't say it was a bad thing. You are good at your job" he praised and the reporter smiled shyly.

Jin hummed, "Okay then, I'm ready. When do you want it?" He asked and the reporter's face enlightened, "Really? You will give us an interview?" He asked and Jin nodded. The reporter smiled brightly, "Thank you so much Mr.Bang, it'll be a good interview. I promise you that" he said and Jin smiled nodding at his words.

Jin was quick to notice that the reporter was still a newbie. The efforts he put to make Jin accept the interview and the way his face brightened was enough to confirm his doubts. Jin actually felt happy to help the boy, he knew how hard people try to find a job and if he could help them flourish, then he was glad to do it.
