Chapter 58

After Jin and Tae spend time, things were not so rough between them. Jin had again been reminded of the soft spot he held for Tae, along with Jimin unaware of brutal truth. Jin dropped Tae back at home after spending time in the mall, but he was rewarded with numerous texts from Jimin, telling how biased he was.

Jin chuckled at Jimin's messages but he still hadn't let his guard down. Tae was getting more and more open with Jin, spending most of the time with Jin and Ami, which resulted in the strong friendship between them. Jin was happy with how things were going. Sure, at times he was cold to Tae because of his changed nature but that didn't stop Tae from bugging Jin.

It was a week after Taekook breakup and things weren't as heated. Jungkook left for his match, supposed to be back in few days. Fortunately, Jungkook wasn't sulking or pouting instead he was filled with the thoughts of winning Tae back, even if it costed his job. Jungkook wanted to introduce Tae to the world as his boyfriend.

But his coach had stopped him, warning him to throw him out of the team if he ever revealed anything about his boyfriend. At that point, Jungkook was desperate and in love with his passion of football that he chose to follow his coach's command. He thought Tae would throw a tantrum for not telling about his relationship.

He was very surprised when Tae understood and didn't react all bratty. Maybe that was when he started taking Tae's feeling for granted but ever since that day, Jungkook paid no attention to Tae's feelings. It broke Tae's heart everytime Jungkook did something without him but being a supportive boyfriend, he sucked it up.

Jungkook was hell bent this time to not hide about his love of life from the world. He was ready to leave his dream but he wasn't ready to let Tae go away from him. Like expected, Jungkook and his team won the match and being the captain, Jungkook felt proud. He played with all his heart thinking this could be his last match though he wished it wasn't.

When Jungkook was called for an interview, Jungkook took a bold step and revealed his secret. The crowd in the stadium went crazy hearing Jungkook, supporting him which made his heart warm. In the whole Korea, everyone watched the match, after all, he was a known star representing Korea.

All of Jungkook's friends watched the match and his interview, utterly surprised and happy for him. Jin and Ami were shocked but soon cheered for him. Jin smiled seeing smiling Jungkook on the screen,"Finally, this bunny did one thing right" he muttered smiling. Namjoon jumped up throwing his hands in the air, cheering at his boldness.

Chang Ho and Jiae laughed heartily hearing Jungkook's statement while Yoongi sat like a proud father. Jimin and his parents had the same reaction like Namjoon's but Jimin froze hearing the news. It was not that he wasn't for them but he was extremely happy that he forgot to breath. Mrs.Park patted his back, urging him to breathe.

Tae hadn't informed his parents about his breakup. Over the years, his dad had started disliking Jungkook and he didn't want his father to hate him even more. So he kept his lips sealed, not breathing a word about his breakup and even begged the others to not talk about it. They all agreed to Tae's request, exactly knowing the unsaid reason.

When the match was going on, it was morning in Korea. Tae and his parents were having their breakfast, watching the match. Mr.Kim had put on the sports channel for Tae, thinking he would like watching his boyfriend. Tae smiled forcefully at his father but never once looked up to see Jungkook playing. He didn't want his father to see him weak.

When Jungkook told about Tae, the said boy choked on his food while his parents gasped. Tae was coughing badly from the stuck food but his eyes were stuck at the smiling Jungkook on the screen. Mr.Kim smiled happily hearing Jungkook, his doubt that his son was getting used washed away hearing Jungkook and he was pleased.
