So in this imagine/preference the glader(dude) gets jealous too but it sort of focuses on you being jealous, enjoy!

Thomas -
Ever since the new girl came in the box, everyone has been paying attention to her, including Tom. You hated the fact that he's been spending more time with her than with you. Currently, you're sitting down leaning on a log next to your best buddy Newt. He seems to notice something's wrong because he asks, "What's wrong love?"

"Nothing." You sigh.

"Aw c'mon you know you can tell me." He says switching positions to look at you. You feel a tear roll down your cheek and quickly wipe it away hoping Newt doesn't see, but he does.

"It's about Tommy ain't it?" He asks. You nod slowly letting more tears fall.

"What'd the shank do?" Newt asks sternly.

"N-nothing it's just h-he pays m-more attention to T-Teresa than to-to me" you sob. He leans over to hug you and you hug him back. You calm down a bit.

"Th-Thank you Newt. Comfort is what I need right now and I don't seem to be getting any from Tom because he's too busy being with her." You say. He rubs your back gently.

"I don't know what I would do without you Newt." You tell him sincerely, suddenly you're being yanked out of his embrace and faced toward someone else, Tom.

"You two seem to be getting along very well tonight." He says through gritted teeth.

"Oh really? I didn't think you would notice while being all over Teresa." Newt throws back at him.

"What the shuck are you talking about!?" Thomas says pushing him.

"About the fact that you're paying more attention to a Greenie rather than your own girlfriend!" Newt yells pushing Thomas back.

"That is not true you stupid shank." Thomas is about to swing at Newt when you finally speak up,
"It is."

Thomas turns to face you and his face falls when he sees you crying.
"What?" He whispers.

"It's true Thomas! You've been paying soooo much attention to her! It's like she's your bloody girlfriend not me! I don't even know why we're still together.Maybe we should just end things." You whisper the last sentence.

"No no no no no no don't say that. Please don't say that. We're together because we love eachother (y/n). Please don't leave me. I love you so much, not her. I'm sorry that I've been making you feel neglected. I really don't mean too."

"I love you so much." He says again, he walks over to you and wraps his arms around you.

"I love you. I love you. I love you." He repeats over and over again.

"I love you too Tom." You cry into his shoulder.He pulls away to look at you, and wipes the tears that are on your cheeks.

"Don't cry anymore, I don't like watching you cry, especially when it's because of me." You nod, he looks into your eyes and gives you a small smile before kissing you passionately.

Newt -
"Hey Newtie!" You yell excitedly running towards Newt. He looks at you then continues looking behind you.

"Newt?" You say looking at him. He doesn't even look at you this time.

"What is it that's making you-" you stop once you see what he's staring at..Teresa. Suddenly you feel jealousy and anger.

"Nice to know what you're gawking at now!" You shout pushing past him. He finally stops staring at her and turns towards you.
