Attacked (for Kaitlyn)

You held some logs in your hand and walked to the hut. The Builders were meeting there to make a plan on how to build a ladder. It seemed like a very dumb idea, but it could work actually.

As you made your way towards the hut you spotted Newt. You gave him a small smile, he smiled back but suddenly his face dropped and he began running towards you. You didn't understand what was happening. You decided to turn around to see what was going and then BAM! Someone hit you with a huge log.

Before you fell unconsciously you saw Newt hit the Glader back and punch him continuously until others came to help. After that, you couldn't see anything more.

You woke up with a huge headache. You opened your eyes slowly, at first all you could see were figures. You were scared so you screamed.

"Hey, hey! It's okay. Calm down, it's me. It's Newt." You could feel your heartbeat steadying.

"Newt? What happened?" You groaned, your head continued to hurt.

"B-Ben, he hit you. He's not a problem anymore." He sighed. You looked around and spotted Thomas, Gally, and Minho standing there as well.

"I-" you tried to sit up, "crap-" you threw yourself back on the bed and put your palm against your forehead. Newt ran closer to you and caressed your cheek. You put your hand down and closed your eyes. Stupid headache.

"Just relax, okay? Relax, Kat." He kissed your forehead. An unexpected smile took over your scowl.

"How's Ben?" You asked, your eyes still closed.

"Uh, he uh..he's fine." You could sense his tenseness. You opened your eyes again, this time you looked at Thomas he was rubbing his head.

"Thomas, what happened to Ben?"

You could see Newt's frown. He disliked it when you didn't believe him, but you knew he was lying.

"He uh, Newt just told you..I have to go." He walked out. You sighed in frustration.

"Please, just tell me what happened!" You got out of bed even though your body hurt. Newt immediately tried to push you down but you went passed him and passed Minho. Gally.

You held his shirt, not to seem dominant, but because your were falling. He held you, "Gally, what happened to Ben? I expect you to be honest." You said weakly.

He looked up at Newt, then down at you.
"He's gone. We banished him while you were asleep."

"Oh my god." You felt your knees go weak. Gally held you tightly, Newt then came over and lifted you in his arms. He laid you down on the bed. You could feel your heart beating out of your chest.

"He's gone, Newt! Why?" You felt tears beginning to rush down your cheeks. You get that he hurt you, but now he could be dead because of you.

"He hurt you! He hurt you Kat!"

"So!? Just because i'm you're girl-"

"We would've done it anyways..never hurt another Glader remember?" Minho finally spoke up. You shut your eyes and tried to steady your breathing.

"Okay..okay." You continued to attempt calming yourself down. Your head was now hurting for a different reason.

"I'm so sorry, forgive me." Newt said. He kissed your temple.

You nodded your head, "it's fine, I forgive you Newt. I just need some rest." You gave him a small smile before turning away and closing your eyes for some sleep.

Sorry that I haven't been posting so much! School is catching up to me! :( I have 2 B's already 😭 also sorry it's taking long on the requests! But I'm not not doing them!
