Final Decision (bet part 5)

This is a continuation, so if you haven't already go read from the beginning! It's called "Bet" :)

Tears streamed down your face. It was impossible to get Minho out of your mind. No matter how hard your tried, he kept popping up.

You currently stood on the Lookout Tower. It was a place where you loved to come for peace and quiet. You always signed up as the person to just lookout for anything because you felt like you could get your privacy.

You took small breaths and calmed yourself down. You looked down at the Gladers. Most were working, but you caught one staring at you: Newt. He quickly turned away when he saw you look directly at him. You sighed, you missed your best friend. You rested your head against the wooden fence surrounding it. You closed your eyes and tried to relax. You now thought of both Newt and Minho.

"Y/n.." The way he whispered your name made chills run down your back. You didn't respond.

"Y/n, you have to listen to me, please." You could here the longing in his voice. You sighed and turned to face him.

"What is it, Minho?" You tried your best to sound uninterested.

"You may get mad at me, but I'm going to be one hundred percent honest with you. Y/n, I don't regret making the bet." You held your breath. Well that hurt. You held back tears,
"Minho, what's the whole point of telling me this!? I--"

"Wait, listen. I don't regret that bet because well because of that bet I got to know you. I told you already but please listen. I got to know you, I got to see who you were. I got to see that you weren't just beautiful on the outside, but inside too. Y/n, I love you. More than anyone ever. I was a stuck up slinthead a year ago, too arrogant to believe that it was possible to love someone more than I do myself, but then I dated you. I dated you and began noticing the cute little things about you, like the way you love to be surprised with cute little gifts, the way you always bite your lips before smiling, the way you love to be hugged tightly. Y/n, I love you so much. You are my whole world. You keep me moving, without you I'm a mess. Please, please give me another chance to prove my love to you."

You looked directly at him, what he said made your heart melt. A stubborn part of you wanted to diss him, but what he did next completely threw you off.

He didn't wait for an answer, he walked quickly to you, cupped your cheeks with both his hands and melted his lips onto yours. You held on to his shoulders and pulled yourself up. He cradled you as you two kissed passionately. You felt his grip tighten on you as he kissed you gently. You felt him smile making you smile.

Finally, you got back on both your feet.
"Do me wrong one more time I'll make sure to kick your ass." He broke into the biggest smile ever.

For some reason, you looked to your right and saw Newt give you a small smile and nod of his head. You knew then, he had forgiven you.
