Your mind was racing. You had no idea what was going on, who these boys were, who you were exactly, and why you were here. However, you had a sense of determination to find a way out, and that led to you following Minho towards the Maze the following morning since you arrived.
You followed without him noticing. You looked around the glade again and had no doubt that you weren't supposed to be here. You continued to walk unnoticed until you got too distracted by the gladers that you didn't notice Minho stopped, and bumped right into him.
He didn't stumble one bit, but you did. You stayed quiet unsure of what to say.
"I don't know why you were following me, Greebie, but I sure hope you weren't trying to go into the Maze" he said without turning to face you, "if you know what's best for you, you'd stay away from these walls." He continued to walk without looking at you.
You continued to follow him, so he stopped and turned.
"That means don't follow me!" He said loudly. You stared at him, but didn't say anything. You weren't afraid of him, but you just didn't like his attitude. You were sure he should understand that you want a way out as much as he does.
He shook his head then turned around again. This time you went around him and jogged towards the walls. His hand landed on your shoulder and yanked you around.
"What's your problem!" You yelled.
"My problem? You're the crazy shank who's trying to go in that damn hellhole! It's suicide."
"Then why are you trying to do it!?" You responded.
"It's MY job! I'm skilled and trained, you are not. Also, you're sort of a girl!"
Your temper rose beyond measures. You tackled him down and held him in a choke hold. Many gladers noticed your argument by now and were cheering you on or making fun of Minho.
"Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean that I can't do anything you can!"
Minho could barely say anything as you were holding on tight.
"I-I'm..." you let go a little, "sorry! I'm sorry"
You let go of him and stood up.
"I'm sorry," he repeated, "I stand corrected. You're probably perfect for the job."
"Are you kidding me? She's got muscles in that tiny--" Thomas noticed your glare, "big..big body of hers! She can most certainly run..." he did an awkward laugh before stepping back.
You stared back at Minho with a proud look in your eyes. He smiled and shook his head.
"We need to go through a procedure first before we can let you in. Follow me."

The Maze Runner Imagines
أدب الهواةI've always loved writing, but I've always been horrible at making an entire story. Short imagines are definitely a great way of sharing my writing, and so that's why I do them! I absolutely love The Maze Runner trilogy. I hope you enjoy my imagine...
