I Will Always Love You | Thomas

This is part two to "Love You Goodbye" so please go read that if you haven't already! :)

*One Year Later*

"C'mon, we have to keep moving." Sebastian, a boy you had met after a few months alone, was sleeping on the sandy ground.

He groaned before opening his eyes completely. He stood up and yawned.

"Are you okay?" He asked...again. Every single day since the day you two met he asked that one question. It wasn't annoying or anything, it just surfaced some emotions you didn't want to feel. You cared a ton about this boy and it was evident that he cared about you too.

"I'm okay, how are you?" While he was standing up you helped him shake of any specks of sand on him.

"I'm okay too." He smiled sweetly. You returned a happy smile.

"Okay, today we're going down there." You pointed to a small town (or what was left of it) that seemed to be doing better than most. Lights went on everyday at night which lead you two to believe there were people there.

You were careful not to sleep too near just in case those people were some type of smart cranks. The town seemed normal though. Today was the day you would check it out.

It took about 30 minutes or so to make it down the small hill. There was movement a few steps ahead of you. Sebastian stopped you and led the way.

You were turning a corner, which Sebastian turned first, before you heard Sebastian scream.

"Run! Y/n run!" Your heart began to pound. You wanted to run, but you couldn't leave Sebastian. When you turned the corner you saw a man holding a knife at Sebastian's neck.

"WAIT! Wait! Did he say y/-" he stopped saying your name when he saw you. You saw him too, and you couldn't believe what was happening.

"Thomas?"

While the man said "You know these people?"
Sebastian said, "Oh my god, that's him."

The man let go of Sebastian, he ran to your side and hugged you tightly. When he let go, he too was gazing at Thomas. Thomas hadn't taken his eyes off you.

Before you could say anything Thomas ran to you and hugged you tightly. You had expected him to yell at you, to be angry. But they way his arms wrapped around you and moved in circles on your back told you otherwise.

"Y/n, where have you been?" He held you at shoulders length. "Who is this? Is he your..your um"

"I'm Sebastian. I've been with her for the past 9 months. Her boyfriend? No. She's too much to handle, plus there's someone else who would always be in the way if it happened." He grinned and shook Thomas's hand squeezing it a little for Thomas to understand what he meant.

You didn't even bother to scold Sebastian for his remark, you were too focused on Thomas.

Thomas looked relieved to hear that you and Sebastian weren't a thing.

"Thomas, who is this?" A girl's voice came in from the same direction he had.

"This is y/n, the girl I've been in love with since the moment her and I met."

"Thomas." You muttered.

"It's true, I told you I would always love you. Why did you leave me? I can tell you do love me, don't you? Why, please tell me why."

You sighed.

"You shook really tell him." Sebastian muttered.

"Don't you think I know that?"

"What happened?? Tell me, please." Thomas was looking at you with those puppy dog eyes that always made you fall for him more every time you saw them.

"They told me that if I didn't leave you they would...kill you. Thomas, they threatened to kill you! I had to! I couldn't do that to you, I couldn't bear the thought of someone hurting you. I'm so sorry, but I couldn't let them do it. I just couldn't."

While you spoke he kept saying your name but you wouldn't listen.

"I had to go, I love you Thomas! I have always loved you and only you. No one else. I'm so sorry, Thomas. I'm so very -"

"Y/n!!" You stopped your talking and looked at him.

"It's okay. You did it for me, I would've done the same for you. I told you once and I want you to hear it again, I will always love you."
