I sat down looking around, guarding the damn place. Tonight was the night. My third full moon here. I watched Newt walk around giving orders to some Gladers and so was Alby.

I could see everything from the lookout tower. After a few minutes of Newt walking around I decided to go to him. He turned around when he heard my steps on the muddy ground.

His smile was wide, "Hey, Wolf!" He said. I smiled looking up at him, "Hi, Newt." I walked over to him and hugged my boyfriend. He rubbed my back, "how's your day going, beautiful?" He asked. I let go and looked at him, "it's okay, how's yours?"

"Why just okay? And it's good." He smiled slightly. I shook my head, "not sure."

"Wolf," he said tucking a strand of hair behind my ear, "I know you're scared. It's going to be okay, I'll help you." He offers. I shake my head, "I could hurt you." I muttered.

"I don't care." He states. I look up at him and gasp, "Don't say that! I care. I don't want to hurt anyone, especially not you, you know that."

"I know, I know..I'm sorry. It's going to be okay though, you know that."

"I know the changing will be fine, but the Gladers they hate me." 

I'm guessing someone heard me because one of them screams, "you got that right! You're an animal you don't deserve--"

There's a loud sound and then he's on the floor wounded. Gally is over him pushing him to the ground.

"Say that one more time!" He threatens.

"Gally!" I yell under my breath.

He turns to me and shakes his head before pushing the Glader to the ground once more and walking towards us.

"What was that for?" You growl.

"He shouldn't have said that, you know I'm right." He turns to Newt.

"He is right." Newt mutters. You scoff.

"Wolf." He reaches to touch you. You suddenly fall to the ground in pain.

"Wolf!" They both scream. You look up and see the moon out.

"T-the mooooon. Go inside!" You try to say while your wolf teeth begin to come out.

"No." Gally says stubbornly.

"Go!" You growl at him by this time your eyes are still ocean blue, but have a small yellow ring around them. His eyes widened slightly before he backs away.

"Take him with you."

Newt is about to protest but Gally, being stronger, lifts him up and takes him.

After the painful changing, you walk slowly back to the homestead. A lot of Gladers are there and you have to confront them. First person you see is Minho, he hasn't found out yet.

You left your head and walk casually to him.

You stand right behind him and howl. He turns around quickly with a spear in his hand. Your instincts tell you to attack him first.

No.

You let your front legs become lower than your hind legs.

It's me.

His face is plastered with confusion.

"Kill her! Kill her! Kill Wolf!" A Gladers chants.

Minho drops the spear, "Wolf? Did you just kill her and Wolf?

You turn in one circle hoping he'll understand. He bends down and touches you. It doesn't bother you. He slightly tugs your pure, Snow White coat. You see a smile on his face and your heart stops pounding so hard. Thomas walks up as well.

"Hey, Wolf." He says before doing the same thing as Minho.

You smell Newt and Gally. You turn around and they're both standing in front of you.

"She's not a dog." Gally says.

In my mind I'm laughing.

Newt crouches and opens his arms. I run to him and crush him. He laughs under me.

He's on the floor while I'm on top of him.

He as well touches my fur.

"Wolf, you may not have all the Gladers' approval, but you don't need to. The most important people to you love you just the way you are. I love you just the way you are. Okay?"

You dig your head into his shoulder and lay on him. Newt rests his head and closes his eyes.

"We care about you, that's what is important."
