Your Point Of View
We did it. We finally made it to something else...something better.

"I told you." Newt grinned. He wrapped his arms around you tightly. Although we just lost someone special, despite her poor choices, it was a moment of happiness. Everyone around us celebrated as well.

"I told you we'd make it together, Kamoryn!" He said cheerfully. I let go of the image of Teresa and looked at Newt with a genuine smile on my face.

"Yes, you did and here we are." I pointed at the beautiful scenery beyond us. It's real. A place where we could be away from all the sadness and pain is real, and I am here with the love of my life. The love of my life whom I've never told I loved.

I stared at Newt. I wanted to tell him that I love him. He stared back at me and his smile began to fall slightly, but that's not what I wanted.

"Is something wrong?" He asked. He sounded worried.

"No, no! I-I just wanted to tell you..I want to tell you.. Newt, I think I...no, I know that I um I love you." I felt better after saying that, but he didn't respond immediately which scared me. All he did was stare at me with a completely serious expression.

"Oh gosh..say something?" I muttered.

He then put on the hugest grin ever and hugged me then kissed me. It was a sweet kiss.

"Kamoryn, I love you! You're the best that's ever happened to me. Despite all the bad in this shucked world, I still keep moving forward every single day thanks to you. You are my sunshine; I love you so much." He kissed my cheek and hugged me one more time.

I felt so many little butterflies in my stomach. Newt was an amazing guy who truly loved me. As we walked hand in hand towards the rest of the Gladers I felt at ease. After three years of pure hell, I finally got a happy ending. I was surrounded by the people I love and the people who love me, and that was great. I no longer has to worry about grievers or cranks. All was well.
