Reunited | Gally | The Death Cure

quick note: i haven't read TDC in a long time, so I kind of don't remember whether the movie and the book are alike when they introduce Gally again, so this will be written based on the movie, however somethings will significantly change.

You stood facing the untouched city. There were walls blocking out any unwanted people or cranks. The whole place seemed like a fairytale.

"We've got to get in," Thomas told you.

"I know," you muttered. You were still shocked to see a city that wasn't completely destroyed. The people outside the walls shouted and stomped their feet at a rhythm.

"Wicked is Wicked!" Some would yell. Other would just throw things towards the walls. It was an awful lot like the shuck Maze. Except this time, you were locked out rather than trapped inside. The shouting of the people quickly turned to screaming and panic. Everyone began to run in separate directions. You were confused until a big boulder landed a couple yards away from you.

"Run!" Jorge pushed you away from the walls. As everyone ran, masked people suddenly began to usher you into separate vans. You tried to fight them, but there were too many of them.

"Leave her alone!" Newt yelled. He tried to run towards you, but they pushed him away and dragged him into a van. You and Jorge had been put into one van while the others were put in another.

The ride back was surprisingly quiet, except for Jorge yelling at them and threatening them every so often.

"I swear if you touch her I'll KILL YOU," he said finally as the car stopped. He managed to take one by surprise and punch him. Jorge threw him off the car and said, "Where is she!?"

As Jorge punched him, Brenda ran from the other car to calm him down. You ran to Newt and hugged him tightly. He held you tight and stroked your hair softly.

Another masked man approached the two vans. However, he didn't seem to notice any of you until he saw Jorge and Brenda looking defensive.

"Who are these p—" he stopped suddenly when he faced you, Newt, and Thomas. Slowly, he removed his mask slowly, clearly shocked because of something.

Your arms dropped from around Newt's neck as soon as you saw the person behind the mask.

"G-Gally?" You said equally as shocked.

You instantly ran towards him and leaped into his arms. He held you tightly and put his face on your neck like he used to do.

"Gally. How is this possible?" You asked as soon as he put you down. You grabbed his face in both your hands and stared at him while tears ran down your cheeks.

Thomas stared at Gally in anger. Newt looked at the sight of both of you with a little ache in his chest. Meanwhile, Jorge and Brenda wondered who Gally was to you guys.

Gally continued to hold you tight. You were so happy to see Gally once more. You had been so incredibly heartbroken when you thought he had died. You didn't even get to touch him then because Minho had pulled you away.

"Why are you here?" He asked.
"We need to get Minho. He's with Wicked. They took him." You responded.

"You killed, Chuck!" Thomas finally yelled and got close enough to punch Gally.

"Thomas!" you exclaimed.

"It's okay. I should've seen that coming," Gally said after a few seconds. "Thomas, i'm on your side," he told him.

"My side?" Thomas laughed, "you killed a kid," he screamed, "you're a monster!"

"Tommy, calm down," Newt finally spoke up, "did you not see how he had been? He was stung and acting crazy," Newt said softly. You finally realized that you had left Newt so quickly for Gally. You gave Newt a sort of sympathetic look. He only smiled and did a slight nod.

"So...How do you know this guy?" Brenda finally asked.

"He was an old friend back in the maze," Frypan finally spoke up. Brenda nodded her head.

"Like I said, i'm on your side, Thomas. I can get you all beyond those walls," he said looking at all of you.
