Never Felt Love

You sighed as you saw Thomas hold Teresa in his arms. She giggled and kissed his lips lightly. You closed your eyes not wanting to see what was happening in front of you. You turned away and walked across the glade to the Look out tower.

You sat down and watched the Gladers roam the place. You couldn't help but glance over at them every once in a while. You bit your lip trying to hold back tears. You didn't make him happy, but she did..she does. A single tear runs down your cheek.

"You have to stop torturing yourself."

You gasp and wipe the tears from your cheeks. You turned around and face Gally. He's got a very sympathetic look on his face. He walks towards you, his hand reaching for your face, but you turn away.

"Gally, please leave." You mutter.
"Stop, I hate that you're not over him!" He whisper screams.

"Don't you see he's perfectly fine without you!? You're only hurting yourself, y/n!" He continues.

"You don't get it, Gally! You've never been in love with someone so much! You've never felt love, you don't know how I'm feeling right now!" You yell without thinking. You look up quickly after and see his face drop before he recovers it.

"Gally, I'm so sorry I-"

"You're right. I don't think I've never known how it feels to be loved, but you're wrong when you say I've never been in love with someone. I'm not sure whether you're blind or honestly very damn oblivious, but I am in love with someone. I'm in love with you. I love you, y/n. So, I do love someone. I do know what it is to love someone. If love isn't caring for someone more than anybody else in this shuck place or if love isn't wishing to be able to hold them in your arms and make them the happiest person alive then you'd be right. Then, I wouldn't know what love is." You didn't know what to say. You stood there staring at him with your mouth slightly open. He took one last sad look at you before walking back down.
