Thomas's P.O.V
We walked for a good while until Minho collapsed on the floor and we all fell with him. We were exhausted and Minho was dying. I couldn't believe I might lose my best friend....another best friend.
"Up!" She ordered. We didn't even wait a second to stand up. Minho was bleeding on the floor, but we couldn't do anything about it. All I did is stare at him. This would be the second time that someone got hurt because of me. A tear slipped down my cheek.
"Oh, don't cry!" She walked towards me.
"Oh Tommy, don't cry!" She called me that all the time back in the glade. More tears fell.
"You don't get do you? If I say do something you do it. If I don't say to do something...you...." she laughed, "cmon finish the sentence," she was making fun of me. Where is the girl I met in the Glade?
"I don't, y/n. If you don't tell me to do something I won't." I muttered.
"Atta boy.. Now, stop crying. Your friend will be fine. Lucas and Marcus go help the kid out." Two boys ran towards Minho who was still whimpering.
"Your friend?? He was your friend too!" One of the gladers screamed. 'No!' I wanted to scream, but I couldn't.. With a snap of her fingers and one of her guys knocked him out.
She came in real close to me and whispered, "you better hope that these stupid boys don't do anything like that anymore or it'll go worse."
"Now," she talked to all the gladers, "we will be reaching a place you can call home. All you must do is, well, listen to me! Follow the rules and you will be safe here. Welcome," we were at a big caged places, she unlocked the door and opened it to a beautiful, big, institute, "to The Purple Rose".
When she said that I couldn't help but fall to my knees. Whether that meant to her what it meant to me, I wasn't sure, but it couldn't have been a coincidence. It couldn't have been.
