You and Draco run to the bathroom to wash off the blood from Cedric's nose off Draco's hand.

"What was that for!" You exclaim.

"I like you y/n. I really like you, and I can't lose you." He seems on the verge of tears as he washes his hands. "You're not like other girls. Other girls I've dated just wanted me for the attention, for the money. They were using me. But you actually care. You want me for me."

You see tears in his eyes and give him a big hug. "Of course I want you for you."

You try to sneak out of the bathroom unnoticed, but of course Professor McGonnagall catches you guys.

"Malfoy! My office. Y/l/n, get to class."

You give Draco one last sorrowful look before heading to DADA. Actually, before you go to class, you want to stop by the hospital wing to see if Cedric's okay. You're late anyways.

"Hey Cedric." You sit on a chair next to his bed. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay"

"I mean, besides a black eye and a headache straight from hell itself, I'm perfect. That son of a bitch could've broken my nose."

"Yah, he can be aggressive when he needs to be. Well, I've got to go to Dark Arts now." You stand up.

"Y/n, wait." He grabs your hand, pulling you back. "Why are you with Draco when you could be with someone like me?"

"He's good to me" you reply, getting red in the face and pulling your hand out of his grasp.

"Pft! He isn't good to anyone."

"You clearly haven't even tried getting to know him. He's kind to those he cares about" you say, trying to not start an argument.

"I bet you got to know him real well in bed" Cedric says in a snarky tone.

"No wonder he punched you." You walk to the door

"Oi! You're cute when you're angry" he announces right before you leave.

You really do want to walk back over there and punch him yourself, but you resist.

You walk into Defense Against the Dark Arts class and you can feel everyone staring at you. Your face is red and you feel like you want to cry. You take your seat in between Harry and Ron, your best friend.

The Burrow was basically your second home, growing up. Your parents died when you were nine, and since they were close friends with Molly and Arthur, you were welcomed like a daughter. You stay with them for at least a couple weeks every summer. When you're not there, you stay at your cousin's house. No one dared to ask about your parents, but you openly talked to Ron about it. You and Ron have been through everything together, and he's been like a brother to you since before you even started Hogwarts.

"Bloody hell y/n, I wish I was there to see the fight" Ron whispered.

"There was no fight" you say, quietly opening your schoolbook. "Barely anything happened."

"Oh please" Ron replied sarcastically.

"How do you know what happened anyways?"

"Just about the whole school knows by now" Harry joined in.

You groan and face plant on the desk.

"What is going on over here?" Professor Snape turns his attention to your table. "Did I hear chatter?"

"No, Professor" you pick your head up from the table as soon as you heard his cold voice directed at you.

"I see." He slowly turns around and continues lecturing the students.

You feel your phone vibrate in your pocket. When Snape isn't looking, you take it out and read a text.

Draco: 20 points from Slytherin and a trip to the forbidden forest :(  My room at 11:00?

Y/n : yes please

It's almost 11:00 pm, so you're about to head over to Draco's room.

"You really shouldn't go. He's just trying to get in your pants" Hermione says.

"He's had a rough day. He needs me" you reply. You hesitate to turn the door knob, but you roll your eyes and swing the door open.

As you're walking, you can't help by think. What if Hermione was right? Is he just using me like his previous girlfriends? I guess I'll find out.

You arrive at his door. He opens up and hugs you tight. He was kind of shaking, and you could tell that he's been crying.

"Come here, let's sit down." You gesture to the sofa.

You guys cried a little, laughed a little, and you lost track of time. It's around 2:00 in the morning, and you're getting tired, so you wrap up the conversation and head to the door.

"Y/n, thank you. No one ever listens" You could tell that he was being genuine.

"Any time," you say with a soft smile, before hugging one more time. He kisses your forehead and you walk out.

Well, it looks like Hermione was wrong.

You smile as you walk, excited for your future with Draco.
