The water was cold, but it was spontaneous and exciting, so you loved it. You slowly made your way back to the shore, where you used a drying spell to dry yourselves off. You sat in the sand for a while and talked a little, made out a little, and still tried to process the fact that you're getting married.

Eventually, you apparated back, where Holly and Lauren were clearly excited to you see you. Draco must have talked to them before you left.

You hold up your hand with the ring, and Holly lets out a small scream of excitement.

As Holly runs at you with a hug, Lauren walks over to hug Draco. They share a whisper and a smile before you switch who you're hugging and Lauren comes over to you. "I'm happy for you, y/n. Draco's a good man and he'll treat you right."

You smile in return.

You all make your way into the kitchen, where Holly brings out the cake she made. "I made lemon cake. Your favorite!"

"It looks so good Holly. You're the best at baking." The cake is 3 layers and is decorated in blue and violet.

"We actually have one more gift for you, y/n,"Lauren says.

Draco smiles, clearly knowing what it is.

Lauren hands you a clipboard with paperwork. You're so confused until you read a little further. "Oh, Merlin!" It's the contract for the beach house.

Draco puts his arm around you.

"I didn't know whether to give this to you now or at the wedding" Lauren says. You read the names already signed on it. Lauren's name is signed as she is the one currently with
the house under her name. You cry when you see the house is signed over to "Mr and Mrs. Draco Malfoy," Mr and Mrs Draco Malfoy. You had to read it again. 'I'm gonna be a Malfoy! You bury your face in your hands as you cry tears if joy.

"Are you alright, y/n?" Draco says.

"It's just..." You point to the 'Mr and Mrs Draco Malfoy' on the paper. "I'm gonna have your last name!" you say, looking at him.

Draco smiles. "Yes you will," he says, kissing the top of your head. "Welcome to the family."

"And you'll be related to the y/l/ns," you say.

"Welcome to our family, Draco," Lauren says, walking over to hug both of you.

"Don't leave me out, guys!" Holly then joins the hug.

You and Draco won't be able to sign the contract until your marriage, where you actually move in together, though it is really cool to see the contract and know the day will come where you share a last name.

It's two months later; August 24th. Your wedding day. You're getting married to the love of your life, and it feels like you're living a fairytale. You got a beautiful white dress,
which Hermione, Ginny and Luna went to help you pick it out. The dress is long, chiffon, and ripples in the wind. It's off the shoulder and has big sleeves that also flow.

You aren't having bridsmaids at your wedding, since it's relatively small.

You've rented out a venue in Cornwall, England, and people are apparating for the ceremony, which starts soon.

The guest list consists of Holly, Lauren, Hermione, Ron, Harry, Ginny, Neville, Luna, a couple other people from school, Andromeda, Teddy, Molly, Arthur, Bill, Fleur, Charlie, Percy, and George (and Fred who will hopefully be there in spirit). You invited your Aunt and Uncle, and they were sorry that they couldn't make it, but still sent you wishes by owl.

Draco didn't even invite his parents, nor tell them you got engaged. He wants them cut out of his life, which is good, and you're proud that he's able to do that.

You're in your dressing room with Hermione, Ginny, and Luna. You're all dressed, and Luna's just touching up your hair a bit before you walk out, while Hermione and Ginny are hyping you up and making you less nervous.

"Really, there's nothing to be nervous about," Hermione says, holding your hands in hers. "You're getting married! And Draco loves you so much, there's no need to be worried."

You nod, reflecting on what she just said.

"And if he ever breaks your heart, he can say hello to my fist!" Ginny says.

"Ginny!"

"What, I'm being serious!"

"I'm sure that will never be necessary," you smile.

You hear a knock on the door.

"Come in" you say, and Ron enters. It's not
very often you've seen Ron wear a suit, but he had to for the special occasion.

The girls look lovely as well. They all have matching dresses.

"You look very nice, y/n," Ron says.

"I sure hope so!" you laugh.

"Anyways, everyone's seated. So, we're ready whenever you are," he says.

"I'll be out in a couple minutes."

Ron gives Hermione a kiss on the cheek, then
goes to sit with everyone else. Oh yeah... Ron and Hermione got back together after the war. Something about missing each other, and not being able to function alone. That's understandable. If you weren't with Draco, you wouldn't be able to function either. You never doubted that Ron and Hermione would find their way back to each other. They really are perfect together. Maybe that will be the next wedding you go to. Who knows?
