You start your walk downstairs, tense with anger.

How could he say something like that! He should trust me!

As you're reaching the bottom of the stairs, you see everyone staring at you. I mean, you did just exchange some shouting with Ron, then slammed the door on him.

You don't want to explain anything, so you immediately head back upstairs, to the room you and Draco share. You flop on the bed and grab a pillow to hug. Your anger turns into sadness.

I just want the people I love to get along.

You let out a shakey breath and close your eyes, trying not to cry. You end up crying anyways, and you lay there, staring at the closet as your tears roll down your cheek and onto the pillow. Not even five minutes since you came to your room, you hear a knock on the door.

"Can I come in, love?"

You sit up straight and say "yah."

As the door slowly opens, you wipe your tears with your sleeve and try to make it look like you weren't just crying.

"Hi" is all Draco says as he sits next to you. Then he looks as you and takes your hand, holding it with both of his. "Tell me. What's making the most beautiful girl on this earth cry?"

"I wasn't crying."

"It's okay to cry, darling," he says, wiping the remnant tears from under your eyes with his thumbs. "Especially when you get into an argument with your best friend."

"...So did everyone hear that?"

"I think so."

You sigh, and look down to your feet. "I just want him to trust me" you almost whisper, as you lean your had on his shoulder.

Draco puts an arm around you, and comforts you as you start to break down again.

"We've been through everything together, but as soon as I get a boyfriend he acts different. And he's had Hermione, but I don't complain. I want him to be nice to you. But I can't force him to do anything. I just want my best friend back."

And with that, you're crying again.

Draco moves to lay down against the headboard, and you lay on top of him so you can cry into his chest while he rubs your back.

As you're laying there, occasionally you'll mutter something about how Ron's being an arse, but it's mostly your sobs that fill the room. Draco hasn't said anything. He's just there for you, like the good boyfriend that he is.

Later that day, you let yourself forget about the argument, and baked cookies with the other girls.

Molly gave you some recipes for you to try, then left you alone so you can have some fun girl time.

"Alright, what type of cookie shall we make?" Hermione says, laying out the recipe cards all nice and neat on the countertop.

"I'd like to suggest sugar cookies" Luna says in a dream-like voice.

"And I don't think we can bake cookies without making some chocolate chips," you say.

"How about you, Ginny?" Hermione asks.

"I love all cookies. Whatever you decide."

"Right. Then let's start with the sugar cookies first," Hermione says, putting aside the rest of the recipe cards.

You all get the ingredients out, and make the dough. As it chills in the fridge, you start on the chocolate chip cookies.

It's fun hanging out with your friends outside of school, which you don't get to do often. The baking process is messy (as always), but definitely worth it. Chocolate chips are your favorite because your mom used to always make them for you before she passed. Now they always remind you of her, and Holly makes an effort to bake with you as much as she can. You're really grateful for your friends and family you have. They always manage to cheer you up. You especially needed some cheering up today.

The chocolate chip cookies turned out so good. Now they're cooling off. You've taken the sugar cookie dough out of the fridge, and Hermione's currently rolling it out with a rolling pin.

You feel someone's arms wrap around you, and warm kisses on your neck.

"Draco, go awayyyy," you say, trying to shove him off. "Girls only."

"Okay, okay," he says before taking a finger swipe of the frosting.

"Hey!" You push his shoulder, leaving a flour handprint on his black shirt.

He scoffs, trying not to show a smile. He then dips his finger back into the frosting and boops your nose. Draco walks back out, and up the stairs (probably to get another shirt).

As you grab a paper towel to wipe the frosting off your nose, Ginny speaks. "I've never seen his soft side before."

"He tries not to show it around other people. Ya know... gotta be a big strong man." They laugh. "He wouldn't hurt a fly," you say.

"You guys seem really perfect for each other," Hermione says.

"You as well, 'Mione. You too, Gin," you smile.

Luna looks away, gazing into the room where the boys are. She's got her eye pinned on a certain someone.

"Shall we put these in the oven?" You say once you cut out all the cookie shapes.

When the cookies come out of the oven, you frost them, then holler for the boys to come in.

"It's about time!" Ron yells as he races the rest of the boys, arriving first to the kitchen.

Draco arrives last, and puts his hands on your waist to slide past you and grab a cookie. He did that, knowing it would give you butterflies, which it did.

Out of nowhere, Draco picks you up and brings you to the living room with a cookie in his mouth.

"Baaaaaabe, what are you doing!"

"Stealing you" he mumbles.
