"This is where you'll be staying" Ron says (many flights of stairs later), as you arrive at the room you and Draco will be staying in. "I'll let you get settled in."

"Thanks Ron," Draco says, trying to be humble.

Ron returns the same half smile that he did before, and says "'course" before walking back downstairs.

"Am I doing something wrong?" Draco says.

You shake your head, no. "But I don't think he's forgiven you for what you said when we were younger."

"I wish I could take it back. I really do."

"I know." You go to sit on one of the two twin beds in the room.

"What would you recommend I do to make a good impression?"

"Babe. Don't try too hard. They'll come around."

"But- here, how about I wear a fun shirt?" he says pulling out a Hawaiian shirt.

I doubt a shirt will change their opinions about him, but if it makes him more confident, I'm all for it.

"Sure" you smile.

He quickly changes shirts then does a little spin and points imaginary finger guns.

"Cute" you say.

You go downstairs to find a bunch of your friends downstairs. Hermione jumps off the couch to wrap you in a hug. "Y/n, I didn't know you were here already!"

Hermione is a good person. She forgave Draco and supports your relationship. She's just happy that you've found someone that loves you.

"Yah, we only just got here a couple minutes ago."

"You look dashing, Malfoy" she says, pulling away from you to give your boyfriend a hug as well.

"As do you, Granger" Draco says. A weight has been lifted from his shoulders, now that he knows he might have some other friends here.

Along with Hermione, Harry, Ginny, Ron and Luna are sitting in the living room. Ginny and Luna are sitting with their legs crossed on the floor, playing wizarding chess, while Ron and Harry are talking on the sofa. You pass the girls on the floor with a wave, and a mouth hi!

You sit next to Harry, and greet him with a side hug. Hermione sits back down next to Ron, holding his hand and leaning her head on his shoulder.

While you sat with the trio, Draco sat by Ginny and Luna. Luna's always been kind to Draco, and knew that with time, he would change his ways... which she was right about.

"You look awful chipper, Harry. Any reason?"

"Well" he says, turning to face you. "Just an hour, I left the Dursley's. And as in left, I mean left and never going back." He has the biggest smile plastered on his face.

"That's great!" you say, playfully punching his arm. "So is this everyone?"

"Erm... we're still waiting on Neville" Hermione says.

"And Fred and George will be here day after tomorrow" Ron chimes in.

"Right" you nod. You hear some male voices in the kitchen, so you decide to go in and see who's there.

You bend down to kiss Draco on the cheek on your way to the kitchen. His eyes linger on you for a couple seconds as you walk away, before focusing back on refereeing the chess match.

"You love her, don't you," Luna says once you're out of ears reach.

He looks at her for a second then says "yah" as he starts to blush. "A lot."
