The days went by. Fred's funeral went by. All the Weasleys said a couple words. George was trembling when he went up to speak. He said one sentence, then had to excuse himself. He wasn't seen again until the end if the service.

You also went to the funeral of Remus and Nymphadora. They were buried next to each
other. Andromeda Tonks got custody of Teddy.
Andromeda is Nymphadora's mum, and Draco's aunt. She's been recently widowed.

After the war, you've gotten to spend more time with Andromeda and Teddy. Draco says he getting to know his aunt. He never got to formally spend time with her growing up, as Narcissa and Andromeda were distant.

After the war, you'd spend most of your time at Holly and Lauren's. You'd ocasionally stop by the burrow to check on your friends and make sure they're acclimating to Fred's death all right.

On June 5th, Draco turned 18. He didn't want to do anything big, so you took him out on a nice dinner date, and when you came home, the night escalated pretty quickly after you gave him his presents.

My Now, there's only a couple more weeks until your birthday.

"Good morning darling!" Draco whispers against your neck as he wraps his arms around you from behind.

You just woke up, and you're still laying in bed. He starts to kiss your neck, and up closer to your jawline. "You know what today is?" He says.

You tilt your head to give him more room to kiss you. "Hmm, I'm not quite sure" you say, playing dumb.

"It's the 24th of June. Does that ring a bell?"

"I think you're gonna have to remind me what's so special about today" you sigh, rolling over to meet his eyes.

You both break into laughs, sitting up on the bed.

"Happy birthday, darling," he says, breaking character. He wraps you in a big hug before you get out of bed.

You curl your hair for once in a long time, and put on some makeup. You want to feel extra pretty today, since it's your birthday, and feeling pretty is your gift to yourself. You wear a cute white top and olive green shorts. Even Draco dressed up a bit for this day.

You're excited to finally be 18. Finally an adult.

You come downstairs to the smell of pancakes. Holly's been busy cooking as Lauren is reading the Daily Prophet like she is most mornings. The news in the paper has gotten progressivly better since the war ended. Though it's over, you stil often dwell on the post war tragedies, but today's not the day to be thinking about that stuff. It's gonna be a good day. The table is set with pancakes, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, m&ms, and some berries.

"Happy birthday y/nnnnn!" Holly says, making her way through the kitchen to hug you.

After Lauren wishes you a happy birthday as well, you turn on the muggle radio, where a Queen song is playing, then take a seat at the table.

"So, what would you like to do today, love?" Draco asks, putting a hand on your thigh.

"Definetly go to the beach. It's been over a month since we've been, and we'll hopefully get to move in there for good soon."

"That sounds like a great idea. Do you feel comfortable apparating?" You both got your apparation lisences earlier in June.

"Yeah." You smile. "We should connect to the floo network in the house, since were gonna be visiting our friends a bunch."

"Hey Lauren, why haven't we ever set up the floo network here?" Holly asks.

Lauren shrugs.

"We'll talk to Arthur about that" you say.

After lunch, you opened presents and hung around the house, dancing to the music from the radio and even bringing out a microphone to sing kareoke.

You had an early dinner in at a cute restaurant in London with your Cousins and Draco.

It's 5:00 and you're about to apparate to the beach. "Alright, have fun guuuys!!!" Holly says.

"I'm sure we will" Draco says.

From across the room, Lauren gives Draco a wink as well as a reassuring smile. It wasn't in your view, so you didn't see it.

You then take Draco's hand and apparate to the beach.
