You wake up the next day feeling energy drained. Your eyes feel heavy from all the crying and lack of sleep.

You sit next to Harry and Ron in transfiguration for first period. You overhear the boys having a conversation.

"Did I hear you say your scar's been hurting, Harry?" you ask in a quiet yet panicked voice.

"Yeah but don't make a big ruckus about it" he says, continuing the whisper.

"Harry, th-" you start to say but your sentence was cut off when McGonagall started talking.

You'd usually find Draco after classes, but you didn't bother today. You don't really want to see him after last night, so you went to the common room and sat around the fire with Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Hermione. The conversation wasn't as light as usual.

"So, do you think he's back?" Ginny says.

"I don't know, it only happened once a couple nights ago" he replies.

"This can't be good, Harry" Hermione has a worried look as she speaks. "Your scar has only hurt before when you-know-who came back."

Ron chimes in. "And I thought we would at least have one normal year at Hogwarts." Everyone looks at him. "I'm just saying! We only had three months left to go."

You turn to Harry. "Promise me you'll tell us if your scar hurts again."

He nods. "Of course."

It's now Friday. Classes are kinda awkward, and Draco has barely been talking to you.

He's been acting so weird... like he's hiding something. He would usually come talk to me if something's wrong. He always tells me to come to him but he won't even come to me with his issues!? I need to speak to him. He can't just keep ignoring me.

Dinner has just finished and you go straight to Draco's room. You quietly open the door.

"Y/n, I don't want to-"

"Stop! Stop pushing me away!"

"Y/n, there's so many things I'm dealing with right now and I-"

"Wait, what stuff?" Your face relaxes and your tone is concerned.

"I know about something that I can't tell you... and it's huge but I can't tell you for your safety. I just don't know what to do."

"What is it?"

"I can't tell you!"

"Come on, I'm not your daughter! I can handle it, whatever it is. If it's big enough for you to stop talking to me, I think I should know!"

You're relieved that he's okay and still loves you, but mad and frustrated that he won't tell you. You've been building up all these emotions and it's about time you let them out.

"Can we not argue? I hate fighting with you."

"No! You shut me out for DAYS and I was WORRIED and CONFUSED and I THOUGHT YOU WERE FALLING OUT OF LOVE WITH ME!"

The hint of anger fades from Draco's face when he realizes how much he was hurting you.

"-AND IT'S JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE THIS ISSUE THAT YOU WON'T COME TO ME ABOUT, WHEN YOU ALWAYS TELL ME TO COME TO YOU!" You hold back tears. Draco rarely sees this side of you. You continue to let your emotions out. "It's like you don't trust me. We need each other but this makes me feel like I need you and you don't need me. You shouldn't be hiding things like this from me." It felt good to let your anger out.

Draco moves to hold your hand, but you jerk it away. You make dead eye contact before whipping around to leave through the door. Draco is speechless.

You feel powerful as you walk to your dorm. This soon turns to guilt, knowing you yelled at him when he was just too scared to talk to you about a problem he's having.
