Your house is in view, but right now, you take your sandals off to feel the sand in your toes and splash your feet in the water. "It just makes me so happy" You say. "The beach."

Draco puts an arm around your waist. "I could be anywhere and be happy as long as you're with me."

You stand on your toes to kiss him. "I love you."

"I love you too darling."

"You seem extra chipper today, Draco." It's true. He hasn't dropped a smile the whole day.

"Am I not allowed to be chipper on your birthday?"

"I'm not complaining. I like seeing you happy."

Leaving your shoes in the sand, you walk down
the pier, looking out to the ocean. The sky is a fiery pink and orange sorbet as the sun sets on the horizon. At the end of the pier, you stand, holding Draco's hand and leaning your head on his shoulder.

You're kinda bummed when Draco pulls away from you and you had to lift your head off his
shoulder.

Just then, he bends down to one knee, and looks into your eyes, pulling out a ring.

Your heart skips a beat and your eyes start to form tears of joy.

"Y/n, I know we're young, but you're the only person I will ever love, and I already know I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

You want to say 'yes yes yes!' already, but you want to hear him say the words.

There are sparkles in his eyes as he looks up at you. "Y/n. Will you marry me?"

"Yes!" You cry, pulling him up by his collar to lock your lips together and kiss him like you'll
never be able to kiss again.

You throw your arms around his neck, and he wraps his arms around your waist. Your bodies are so close, you're sharing this moment that you'll remember for the rest of your lives, and it's amazing. You knew this day would come soon, but you didn't actually expect it to be today. You're thrilled though! This is the person you will kiss good morning to for the rest of your life. The person you'll start a family with. The person who your children will call Dad, and you wouldn't wish for it to be anyone else.

"I love you so much, y/n" Draco says, putting his forehead against yours.

"I love you too, Draco. More than you would ever know." He takes a step back and holds your hand in his, slipping the ring on your finger. You kinda forgot that there was a ring for a second. You just wanted him. His lips and his body against yours. "It's beautiful" you say, studying it for a second. It's silver, just like your promise ring, and it has a diamond in the middle. It shines like a star that fell from the sky. You trail your hands down his arms to intertwine your fingers. "I love it" you whisper. "We're getting married, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world."

Your faces are so close.

"And I'm the luckiest boy in the world."

You lean into a soft kiss.

"How do you feel about having a jump in the ocean?" He says in an excited tone.

You give him a strange look. "Are you sure!"

"I've never felt more sure about anything in my entire life!" He shouts, throwing his hands in the air as if he's telling the whole world. And, he isn't talking about jumping in the ocean.

You smile, understanding what he means.

"C'mon! I'm not gonna jump by myself!" He says, holding out his hand.

"You're crazy," you say in a quieter tone as you grab his hand.
