You follow Draco to his room. "Is everything alright? you say. You sit on his bed, and he closes the door.

Draco puts a hand on your leg and and looks into your eyes. "I got a call from my father... they want me to come home for three weeks."

"But you just promised that you'll never leave me." You're mad, but not at Draco. It's his toxic parents that are trying to take him away and make him become a real death eater.

"Baby..." he says as tears come to your eyes. He leans over to hug you.

"When do you leave?"

"Day after tomorrow."

It's stupid to be crying over something like this, but you're going to be without him for three whole weeks, and you haven't been away from each other for more than a day since you've started dating.

"You're only gonna get back a couple days before we go to the Burrow."

"I know baby. I'll be back before you know it" he says with his arms still around you.

"I just wanted to spend the rest of the summer with my boyfriend" you say, burying your face in his chest.

"Hey" he grabs your face. His touch is comforting. "I'll FaceTime you. Every night." He wipes the tears from your cheeks. "Okay?"

"Okay."

You cuddle for a while, savoring the moments you have with each other. You lay there in his arms hoping that you'll remember this feeling while he's gone.

"I think I'm ready to go" Draco says with a sigh after he carried his bags to the car.

"Not without one last kiss" you say as you walk over to him.

He grabs your waist and pulls you into a kiss that lasted roughly ten seconds. You didn't want to pull away, but it had to end eventually. You hold on to his hand for as long as you can.

"I'll be back before you know it."

"I'll be here waiting for you" you say with a smile.

You let go of his hand as he walks out the door. You go upstairs and look out the window to see him still in the driveway with his hands on the wheel. He's crying. You know how much he hates his parents, so going home is torture for him.

You text him: hey, no crying and driving.

Draco picks up his phone. He smiles, then looks for you in the window. He blows you a kiss.

Your phone buzzes, and Draco texted back: I can't text and drive either, but I'll text you as soon as I get there xx."

He wipes his tears with his sleeve and pulls out of the driveway.

As soon as his car is out of sight, you go to his room. You look at his bed where he would be laying, but there's just a hoodie. You put it on and sit on his bed, remembering all the times you've laid on his chest and fallen asleep. You can almost feel him holding you. There's something in the pocket of the hoodie and you take it out. A letter.

Dear Love of My life,

Y/n, I love you so much, I can't even put it in words. Whenever I see you I get butterflies, and you make me feel like it's all going to be okay. You are mine, and will be to the end of time.

I remember the first time I ever saw you. It was at one of my quidditch games. You distracted my with all your beauty. All I could think about was how I was going to ask you out and make you mine. I just knew that I wanted you in my arms. Out of everyone in the crowd, I needed you. It felt like a spirit was guiding me to you, and we were destined to be together. We are soulmates y/n, and I never doubted it.

I bet it hasn't even been a day since you've found this letter. I already miss you. I don't know how I'm going to last a day without just holding your hand or kissing your lips. You make me feel complete, y/n. I hope you don't miss me too much. Go out and have some fun. You can't just watch Netflix in your bed for three weeks. Yes, I know that's what you were planning on doing. I know you too well.

I will be thinking about you every second of every day my love.

He drew a little heart filled in with ink next to his name.

You hug the letter close to your chest. "I love you baby" you whisper.
