You and Draco run down the wooden bridge, hand in hand. You reach the other side and take a detour off the path to Hagrid's house. It's looking quite familiar to when you escaped down here a couple days ago.

When you reach the grass, you take your shoes off and run. Running after Draco because he's faster than you. Your hair and dress surely blowing in the air. You've ran all the way to the flowery clearing where Draco gave you the promise ring.

You run into your boyfriend's open arms, wrapping your legs around him. He spins you around before putting you down. You unclip your hair and it flows in the breeze.

Draco moves a strand of hair behind your ear and rests his forehead against yours. You feel alive in this moment. You slow dance with each other. Time seems to be stopped. It's just you and Draco.

You keep thinking that you won't be able to love anyone more than you already do, but Draco keeps proving you wrong. The more of your life you spend with him, the more you love him, finding new things you love about him. The list is endless: you love how he holds you tighter when you're scared. You love how he'll come all the way to your room to kiss you goodnight. You love how he gives you butterflies by just smiling.

You're on top of him, making out in this surreal moment. Never would have thought that I'd be wearing a fancy dress, making out with my soulmate in a flower field. It sounded like something from a fairytale.

You and Draco are laying in the grass now, watching the stars. Your fingers are laced together, intending to never let go.

He turns his head to look at you. "Y/n."

You look at him with a relaxed smile. "Yeah?"

"Do you know how much I love you?"

"A lot," you giggle.

"No, y/n. I love you more than that."

You lay on his chest and play with his rings as he speaks. "I didn't even know this amount of love existed. More than I could ever imagine. There's just something about you. When I'm with you, I feel complete. I love you so much, I can't even put it in words. You are my everything. Without you, I'd be nothing. You saved me, you know." He's twirling your hair in his fingers as he speaks. "I would die for you, y/n."

You turn to him, not expecting that last sentence. "But if you die, will I live?"

He looks at his hands for a couple seconds then back at you. "I'd watch over you and make sure you're alright."

You almost cry, trying to not imagine what it would be like with Draco gone.

"Baby, I'm not going anywhere." He hold you closer, realizing that he scared you. "I'm just saying, if it were you or me, I hope it would be me," he said, kissing your head.
