You open your eyes.

Red.

A wave of relief washes over you. You close your eyes and smile. You hear the sheets rustling where Draco laid down next to you. "You know, I think you would have been a great mum," he says as you're both staring at the ceiling.

"And you would have been a great father." You intertwine your fingers with his.

"Someday," you say in unison. You look over to him and the smile on his face is similar to the one on yours. It's good to know that Draco has the same feeling of having a family one day.

"Hey babe," Draco shifts his body to face you.

"Yeah?"

"You say you've been dizzy. Should I be worried about that?"

"It's probably nothing," you reply.

"But what if somethings wrong. Can I take you down to Pomfrey's" You groan, but Draco says "Please. I just want to make sure you're okay. Then I won't have to worry about you."

"Fine," you agree, and Draco walks with you to the hospital wing. You lay against the headboard of a bed and cross your ankles. Draco sits by your knees and holds your hand.

"Alright, what brings you here?" Madam Pomfrey walks over to your bed.

"I've been feeling dizzy."

She puts the back of her hand on your forehead. "Have you been drinking enough water?"

"Not less than usual."

"Let me get you a glass," Madam Pomfrey says before getting up to walk out of the main room.

"Y/n y/l/n not drinking enough water. Tsk tsk," Draco jokes.

"I swear it's not about water," you say, smiling. On the inside, you're actually concerned. Your mind has a million thoughts, questions, worries.

"Y/n, could I have a word in private," Madam Pomfrey asks, handing you a glass of water.

"Erm, sure," you say, nodding at Draco.

He looks a bit confused, but gets up to wait outside.

You look at Madam Pomfrey, waiting for her to say something. "Now did you say you're often dizzy?" You nod. "How often has this been happening."

"For the past couple months, but more recently it's been worse."

"Could this be due to stress?"

You look down at your hands, contemplating this information.

"Now I wouldn't want to just to any conclusion, but dizziness is a sign of anxiety. Might this be the reason you've been bouncing your foot ever since you got here?"

You look at your foot which quickly stopped moving. "I never thought about it."

"Well, I may be completely wrong about this even. But why don't you take the day off. I'm here if you ever want to talk."

"Thank you," you say with a forced smile.

"So what was that about," Draco asks as soon as you step outside the doors.

"Just dehydrated. I'm gonna take the rest of the day off. Why don't you go to class?"

"But I want to stay with you." You give him a glare. "Okay okay," he says. "How about I go back after lunch?"

"Deal." You couldn't bring yourself to telling Draco about what you and Pomfrey actually talked about, because you fear she might be right. He doesn't need to worry about you. This is all new to you, so you're unsure about it yourself. Maybe if you fully accept it and understand it, you'll tell him. But for now, he can't know.

Over the next couple days, you couldn't help but point out to yourself when you noticed you were tapping your foot or twirling your hair. One time Draco noticed you biting your nails and he grabbed your wrist to make you stop. Maybe Pomfrey is right. I have anxiety.

While editing this, I'm realizing how this isn't fully accurate about how anxiety is, but I'll come back and edit it later
