It's the first game of the season. Hufflepuff against Gryffindor. You, Hermione and Neville take your seats in the second row, ready to cheer on your friends.

Finally, you see the red robes whiz onto the field. You, along with Hermione and Neville scream good luck at your friends. It would be quite a shame to lose against Hufflepuff.

Harry eyes the seeker from the other team; Cedric Diggory. Cedric's a good player, but he's not as good as Harry.

The game starts, and fourteen red and yellow robes start flying all around, along with the bludgers, a quaffle, and the tiny golden snitch, (which you can't exactly see at the moment).

The game goes on for about forty minutes. Points got scored, houses chanted for their teams, and the snitch was still nowhere in sight... until Cedric made a sharp turn. Everyone followed his direction with their eyes and saw it; the snitch.

Harry soon caught on, and quickly caught up to him like the swift seeker he is.

You can feel the wind of them flying right past you when they make their way around the whole field.

They both catch up to the snitch. It's anyone's game. They bump into each other with their hands outstretched. Before you know it, they've rolled to the ground, and the stands are in silence, awaiting to see if someone caught it. Harry pops up, victorious, holding the shimmering golden snitch in his right hand, raising it up to the sky.

"WHOOOO!"

"YEAH HARRY!"

The Gryffindor team roars with excitement as they praise their team for the win.

"I had no doubt they would win!" Neville exclaims.

"You run down to the pitch and find Harry, Ron and Ginny in the swarm of students. There are many people crowded around around the team, so you shout "WE'LL MEET YOU IN THE COMMON ROOM!"

Ginny gives you a thumbs up.

You, Hermione and Neville go to the common room, soon joined by Luna, bearing her lion hat. Neville kisses her, and she sets the hat down. Then, they join you and Hermione by the common room fire.

"I think I'm gonna go ask the kitchen for brownies to celebrate," you say, standing up.

"Want me to come with you?" Hermione says.

"No, I've got it." You walk out of the common room and into the silent hallway.

You're almost there, just past the Hufflepuff common room. It's just you alone with your thoughts, but all of a sudden, you weren't so alone; a cold hand grabs yours from behind you. This frightens you so much, you whip your head around and stumble backward.

The look on your face completely changes; a genuine smile appears, and your pupils grow wide. Draco. You quickly embrace him in a hug. "You scared me so bad," you laugh into his chest. Then you look up at him.

"Have you been ignoring me, y/n?" He says it with a kind smile.

"I would never ignore you babe, I've just been really busy."

Draco pulls you in for a short but passionate kiss before walking the remaining short distance to the kitchen with you. You walk hand-in-hand, glad they you ran into your boyfriend.

"Wait, where are we going again?"

"Kitchen. Getting brownies to celebrate Gryffindor's win."

"Of course Gryffindor won." He rolls his eyes. "Pottah."

"It was actually pretty close," you say.

"Was it now?"

You nod. "And where were you going, might I ask?"

"I was just going for a walk. Finished a crap ton of homework." He does look like he was just relieved from stress. Seeing him content makes you happy.

You get to the kitchen and the house elves were happy to give you a platter of brownies. "Thank you!" They smile and giggle.

"You gonna stop by my room tonight?" Draco asks.

"If I'm not too tired at the end of the after-party."

"You could always sleep in my bed," he suggests.

You give him an I guess so shrug.

"Sleepover," he rewords it to make it sound more appealing.

"Only if we can wear onesies," you say, arriving back at your common room.

You both grin. "I can't with you, y/l/n," he says before kissing you one last time before you enter through the portrait hole.

You walk back into the Gryffindor common room. It's pretty full now, and loud with chatter. You walk over to your usual spot, where Harry, Ginny and Ron were back from their game, along with Hermione, Neville and Luna. The three look sweaty, still in their uniforms. Smiles are washed on everyone's faces as they feel confident after winning the game.

You walk over to them by the fireplace, and set down the platter of brownies on the ottoman saying "I come bearing food."

Ron's the first one to lunge at the platter. "Don't mind if I do."

Harry has his arm around Ginny on the sofa next to yours. Neville and Luna are sharing a chair. You're sitting next to Hermione on a sofa and Ron's sitting next to Ginny. You could feel the awkward tension, because the big chair Ron and Hermione used to cuddle up on was now vacant.

"Starting the season off right with a win," you say to start the conversatoin.

"Kudos to Harry," Ginny adds, giving him loving eyes.

"I mean that's what I'm supposed to do," Harry says with his normal sassy tone. He takes a bite of his brownie. "If you were seeker, you would've caught the snitch too," he says with a smile. "It actually was a really close match, though. Cedric was just as close to catching the snitch as I was."

You continue talking for what was somewhere between 1 and 2 hours.

"Well, I've still got to go take a shower," Ron says, tugging at his shirt.

"Same," says Ginny.

"I think it's time for me to go to bed anyways," Neville says, before taking a look at his watch. "Whoa! I really should get to bed... Luna, can I walk you back to your dorm?"

For a lot of the conversation, she was close to falling asleep on her boyfriend's shoulder. She mumbles "mhm," and Neville ends up carrying Luna out the portrait hole.

As Hermione follows Ginny up to the girls dorms, she says "y/n, you coming?"

"I think I'm gonna see Draco. Go on without me."

She doesn't look surprised. She looks almost happy that you've found a love like Draco to spend your time with. "Have fun with that," she says with a smile.
