You sit on Draco's bed for a while before going downstairs. You see Holly with open arms, knowing that you need a hug. "He'll be back before you know it" she says.
"Yah."
"Why don't I make you some lunch... or we could go out?"
Your face lights up. "Can we go to Martino's?" That's your favorite muggle pizza restaurant. You haven't been there in ages.
"Of course. Lauren, We're going to Martino's. Want to come?" She yells across the house.
"I'm alright, thanks" Lauren replies.
"Suit yourself" Holly says.
After pizza, you and Holly go to get ice cream and walk down the pier. Your phone vibrates in your pocket, and you take it out to see a text notification.
Draco: I'm here. Dreading to walk inside.
Y/n: I'm sure It won't be that bad. Can't wait to facetime.

Meanwhile, after sitting in his car for about a minute, Draco takes a deep breath before walking up to the front door of the Manor.
Narcissa opens the door with Lucius standing tall and proud behind her.
"My boy," Narcissa says. "Come here." She opens her arms to her son, and Draco walks inside, unable to avoid his mothers contact. He keeps his arms at his side as his mum hugs him as if they have always been a perfect nuclear family.
"Son, What are you wearing?" Lucius says, critically.
Draco looks down at his short sleeve blue button down and shorts. "I'm wearing regular summer clothes, father."
"Don't talk back to me" Lucius snaps. "Your attire is unacceptable. Our family holds high standards, and you will not waltz in here dressed like a muggle."
Draco doesn't reply, looking at his shoes.
"There are clothes in your room. I expect you to look presentable when you come back down."
"Yes father" Draco says, quickly walking up the staircase. He slams his door and looks around his room. His room doesn't cheer him up, and if anything has only made the whole situation more dreadful. The walls are dark green, as well as the sheets on his bed. The only light source is from one lamp in the corner. He used to like his room, but he finds embarrassing and disconsolate now.
There's a black suit lying on his bed. He gets memories from being back home, and last summer when he was sworn in as a death eater. He grabs his left arm, looking at the dark mark which he tried to efface, yet is now left with subtle scars.
He puts the suit on, and flattens his hair with gel before walking back downstairs.
"That's more like it" Lucius says, patting his shoulder. His parents smile at him, but Draco looks away.
"What's wrong dear?" Narcissa asks.
"Why am I here?"
"Are we not allowed to want some quality time with our son?" She replies.
"I was perfectly fine spending the holidays with my girlfriend."
"You're still with that girl? You've never had a girlfriend for over a week."
"She's different, and I'm going to ask her to marry me someday."
"Well that's great, but I don't know this girl."
"I wasn't asking for your permission."
***
When you facetime Draco later that evening, he looks like he's had a rough day.
You're laying on your bed with your phone propped up against a pillow.
"You don't understand how happy I am to see you, y/n."
You talked for hours, but your were both getting to the point where you could barely keep your eyes open, so you had to wrap up the conversation.
"I miss you so much. Talk to you tomorrow" you say.
"I love you."
"I love you."
Draco falls asleep looking at the picture he has of you guys on his nightstand. It was taken when you were at the beach. It's depressing how one can go from feeling like the luckiest man on earth to having no shoulder to cry on.
He hates his parents more than he hates himself, so staying here is torture for him, and he just wants to get back to you. He wants to get back home.
