Normal POV:As I drive home, I felt a mixture of emotions. I was happy that I had my car and keys back, but I was sad that I had to leave Colby. I was still an amount of angry from today at work, and I was worried. But that, I had no idea why.
Once I finally got home, I parked in my parking spot and headed upstairs to my apartment. I walked to the door, put my keys in, and unlocked my door.
"Home sweet home." I sigh to myself, walking inside. Putting down my keys, I closed and locked my door. Considering I hadn't slept in over 12 hours, I instantly ran to my room, plopped down on my bed, and fell alseep.
Colby POV:
I didn't know when Jordan got home, or if she was home, but I already got back to the house. She told me to text her, but I wanted to wait just in case she was still driving.
"Sam! I'm home!" I call, walking inside. I kicked off my shows and hung my keys up on the wall, walking into the living room. As I look up from my phone, I notice an unexpected visitor sitting on the couch. "Hey." Jake greets. "Oh, hey man." My smile grows. "What are you doing here?" I ask happily. "Nothing man, just chilling." He smiles. "Niice." I laugh.
Jake and I talk for a while, maybe about and hour or so until we hear the front door open. Soon after that, a lot of laughter, and voices echoing throughout the house.
I turned my head around the corner, to find Elton, Corey, Aaron, and Devyn back in the house. "We are home!" Devyn calls innocently. "No dude, fucking Trevor." I hear Corey loudly announce.
Jake looks at me confused, as I do the the same him. Letting out a small giggle, Elton and Corey come walking in the living room with a large bag of pistachios. Devyn had gone upstairs, so it was just the four of us.
"Why do you have that?" I ask curiously, pointing to the bag hesitantly. "Because pistachios are great." Corey says. "Okay, valid point." I agree.
Time Skip: Next Day
Normal POV:
The next morning, I woke up pretty early. At about 7:00am which is early for me if I don't have to work the next day. I was still a little bit tired, but I had to get up at some point.
Forcing myself out of bed, I sat up and stretched my arms out, a yawn following shortly after. "Yay, work." I complain. My schedule for work was usually the same every day. I would wake up, grab the clothes I want to wear for the day, take a shower, eat, brush my teeth, and chill at home until I had to leave.
As I walked into my bathroom, I stood and looked myself in the mirror. Smiling as I noticed I was still wearing Colby's clothes from yesterday. I was so tired when I got home, I didn't even change. I just slept in what I was wearing. "I gotta give these back." I say to myself, tugging lightly on the bright orange shirt.
I really liked the pants I was wearing. I picked a red pair, with black splashes all over. It looked as if it was tie dye. There were small rips on the knees, and just above that on each side. They were really nice pants. But of course, they weren't mine to keep.
I started up the shower, and began to undress. As I was about to take off the shirt, I hear faint knocking at my door. Stopping, I let the shirt fall back down and checked to see who could be there.
"Hello?" I question, opening the door. When I looked, nobody was there. Not even a package. "Weird." I shrug. As I was about to close my door, I saw someone pop out from the corner, and jump at me. "HEY JAYJAY!" A girl shouts at me, brightly smiling. Instantly, I knew who it was.
My bestfriend Andie was at my front door. "ANDIE?!" I shout happily. Quickly grasping her into a tight hug, I laugh into her shoulder.
"What are you doing here?!" I exclaim happily. "I came to visit." She tells me. "Well come inside!" I offer. She had a bunch of luggage with her, so I assumed she didn't have a hotel or anything.
"I'm staying here by the way." She tells me. "That's fine." I say. "Getting ready for work?" She asks me. "Yeah." I say, closing my door. "Well do that, and we are catching up right after." I'm told. "Definitely." I agree. "Okay, I'll be back." I say, heading into the bathroom.
Closing the bathroom door, I undress, and play music from my phone. I almost always showered with music. It just made it more enjoyable. Playing the first song, I hopped in the shower and began to sing and dance along.
Being in this space has made me feel
A bit more small and I'm not quite sure where I'm goin' next
I'll try to use a map but with directions I tend to be bad so
I'll use GPS and pray for the bestI've got so many years to flesh this out and be what I wanna be
But it's confusing to say the least
No perception of time or space or distance or weight
And I think I'm going insane
Due to graduate and remain a beastAnd oh woah I just want you to know, woah
I feel so brain dead next to you
It's not like you intended to
Hurt me or make me feel that way
And I'm not tryin' to complain
But it just sucks to try and explain
Why I feel like this everydaySleepin' through your days and skippin' meals
Must sound so unappealing
But I guess it's different when it's the norm
Sinking deeper into whatever this is without a hint of reflection
Can't tell if this is the calm or if this is the stormGiving everything I've got equates to about
A shower and wakin' up late
Faced with anything I tend to flee
So when I'm thrown into the adult world
Where they do things that I never learned how to do
I guess I'll live in a swamp or a treeAnd oh-oh, I just hope you all know, oh
I feel so brain dead next to you
It's not like you intended to
Hurt me or make me feel this way
And I'm not tryin' to complain
But it just sucks to try and explain
Why I feel like this everydayMy brain is surrounded by school kids
Who all got their valedictorian course
While I couldn't care enough about my 3.8
No matter how hard I try
I'm still not trying hard enough to be greatA/N:
Hey everyone, my apologies for not posting the past two days. I've been extremely busy recently. And I know this chapter is rather short, but I'm a bit busy today as well. I'll try and make the next chapter longer. Anyway, here's today's song!
