"Where are they?" I asked, turning my head back and forth trying to spot the others. We were at the table we said we'd meet, though it was only Colby and I."I'm sure they're just still getting their food, don't worry." Colby assures.
As the both of us sat down Colby almost instantly started ripping into that funnel cake of his.
I was definitely hungry, but refused to eat. Looking at his powered sugar, chocolate, whip cream, covered cake, my mouth began to water. I could taste it.
My stomach started growling louder and longer each time, my hands started shaking from the lack of food, but I still pushed back. I wasn't going to eat anything because of that stupid anxious fear of mine.
I hardly even noticed that after a few minutes more of sitting at that table, no one was here but us. The girls, and the guys were still gone, most likely getting their food. I didn't think much of it. Six Flags lines for anything tend to be long.
"Hey." Colby voices.
I didn't reply, my eyes were focused on his food.
"Helloo??" He spoke up.
Snapping back into reality, I looked him in the eyes. His gorgeous, vibrant, shining blue eyes.
"Oh, sorry I spaced out."
With the shrug of his shoulders, Colby starts explaining.
"So, I have an idea." He tells me.
Curious of what he had to say, I nodded for him to continue.
"It's for a YouTube video." He implies. "So when that lady told us we were a "cute couple", he quotes. "And you went along with it, it gave me an idea." He began.
Leaning forward, I started paying more attention.
"What if, you and I pulled a prank on the house telling them we're together?"
My eyelids opened a bit wider as his idea sunk into my head.
"Well not right now obviously?" I questioned.
"No, no obviously not. But within a few months or something." He assures.
I thought about it for a moment while I watched him chow down on the crispy, sweet, dessert. It wasn't a bad idea. I've always been somewhat of the prankster type, and if I were one of his frequent viewers, I would definitely watch the video.
"You know what, yeah. I think that would be a really good idea." I smiled.
The hungry boy acrobats me showed a prideful grin.
Just before he was about to continue, I saw Jake, Sam, Andie, and Elton returning with plates full of food.
"Colby."
Twitching my head towards the four, I got him to shut up about it.
"Hey guys." Sam greets.
Him and Sam sat on my side of the table while Elton and Andie sat on Colby's.
Seeing their full plates of greasy, delicious lunches, I already felt hungrier. It sounded like bombs were going off in my stomach. Thankfully that was drowned out by all the happily terrified screams and loud runs of rides.
"Hey Jordan, where's your food?" Asks Jake.
"Oh, I'm just uh.. I'm just not hungry." I lied.
I could tell Colby and Andie were staring at me, knowing my dishonest response. Andie was used to it by now, so I didn't get much reaction from her than Colby.
