"Oh my god, are you divorcing mom?" I joke. I could tell Colby wanted to laugh, but he didn't. Now I knew he was actually being serious. "Uh oh, what did I do?" I ask, plopping down on Colby's couch. Worriedly, I wait for his response.Letting out a sigh, Colby responded. "What really happened with your job Jordan?" He asks calmly. "What?" I question. I knew exactly what he was talking about. "What really happened, with your job." He repeats, slower this time. "I told you already, my boss gave me the week off." I lied. I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't tell him. I didn't want him to worry about me. What else I knew, is that if he believed me, I had one week to tell him the truth.
"Jordan, you swear to me that you're telling the truth?" He checks. "Yes, I swear." I said untruthfully. "Okay, alright. I'm sorry I didn't believe you." He sighs. "It's okay, don't worry about it." I reassured, faking a smile. I felt horrible lying to him, but this was my problem, not his.
"Let's go back downstairs then shall we?" He suggests, walking halfway out the door. "Indeed." I agree. I was going to try my best to stay away from the whole "job" subject today.
As we walked downstairs, I could hear Andie laughing along with everyone. Like I mentioned earlier, I knew she'd come around, and from the looks of it, she did.
"Oh look who's back!" Corey cheers. "Woohoo!" Sam calls. "What was all that for?" Aaron smirks. "Oh nothing, we were just having sex." I joke. "Although Colby's performance game wasn't too strong." I continued. Colby's eyes widened and mouth opened in a playful frown. "So you were faking." He sadly says. "Sorry not sorry." I shrug.
A couple more hours went by, and we mostly just hung out around the house. Aaron and I played Fortnite together, Aaron being in his room while I was downstairs. Devyn asked Andie and I to help her pick out her outfits for the week, which we did. What she wears isn't really my style, so it was a bit difficult, but I think what we chose was good. She liked them all. Andie also went on a walk with Devyn while they walked both dogs for Aaron and Elton.
So since they left, it was just me and the boys. Well, after Aaron and I had stopped playing, he started streaming fortnite so technically not everyone. I'm glad Andie and Devyn were getting along like they did. It was nice. Andie's friends have all kind of ghosted her recently, except for me. It was nice to see her with new ones.
"What's the circumference of a testicle?" Corey wonders. "Well doesn't that depend on the testicle?" I question. "Well he could be referring to his testicles." Sam suggests. "Sam he said testicle, not testicles." Jake informs. "Yeah Sam, not plural." Colby scoffs. "Jeez, sorry guys I'm not smart like that." Sam says with the roll of his eyes. Elton was just sitting there, recording this whole conversation. Which I was glad of, because this is funny as hell.
"You guys aren't answering my question." Corey complains. "Fine, drop your pants." I sigh. Corey standing up, he unzips his pants and begins to pull them down enough to his upper thigh. Quickly pulling them back up, everyone starts to laugh immediately.
Elton ending the video, laughs along as well. "Send that to me!" I wheeze. Elton nodding with a red face, I sudden felt a very heavy weight crushing me. Extremely surprising by it, I yelled. "OH SHIT!" I shouted. Soon realizing Sam was on top of me and wrapping around me, I calmed down.
"Fucking suffocate me while you're at it why don't you." I joke, making myself go limp. I wasn't very smart at this moment, so I didn't realize that all of Sam's weight would then be pushed against me. Quickly after, it was very hard to breathe and my knee was pushing onto my stomach. It did not feel good.
"OH- fuck fuck fuck fuck!" I yelped. Sam quickly getting up, I layed back on his lap while grasping my stomach in pain. "Oh shit, I'm sorry Jordan." Sam apologizes. Still struggling to breathe, I tried my best to mumble out some words. "I-it's o-oka-okay." I gasped. I had ended up knocking the wind out of myself. Not very fun times.
Minutes later, I finally was able to breathe correctly again. Thank god. This wasn't the end of the world, but it certainly was not the most fun experience.
More time went by, and I was back to normal. But a bit sleepy after that whole thing. Really sleepy actually, but I didn't want to leave so I dealt with it.
"Guys we haven't been doing much this past like week, why don't we do something tomorrow?" Elton suggests. "Yeah sure. Got anything in mind?" Colby wonders. "Well I was thinking Six Flags, but I don't know about you guys." He shares. "Oh yeah, that sounds fun. I'm down." Sam agrees. "Me too." Corey and Colby smile. "Awesome then. Jordan, since you've got ths week off, you want to come too? You're welcome to bring Andie if she's up to it." Elton offers.
"Oh shit, really?" I ask happily. "Yeah, of course." He smiles. "Shit, yeah I'm down." I agree. "Jake you want to come?" He asks. "Definitely." Jake smirks. "Alright, awesome then. Six Flags tomorrow." Colby says happily.
"Ooh, did I hear Six Flags?" Devyn questions, walking in the living room with Andie. Somehow none of us heard them come in. I didn't know where the dogs were, but I could hear them trampling around the house. "Yeah, we're gonna go tomorrow. You guys want to come?" Elton offers. "Yes, definitely." Devyn says excitedly. "Andie?" I question. She nods, and sits next to me on the couch.
About 30 to 45 minutes more passed, and I started getting really tired. It was hard for me even to keep my eyes open. "Jordan, you okay?" Colby asks. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired." I yawn. "You can go take a nap in my room or something if you want." He offers. "No it's okay." I say sleepily. "Okay, no come on you're taking a nap. You're going to pass out anyway." He insists. I watch as he stands up from the couch and walks to me. "Let's go." He says, reaching out his hand.
"Fineee." I whine. I was too tired to care at this point, so I just followed him. "Goodnight guys, Andie don't leave me." I yawn, walking up the stairs. I could hear everyone snickering quietly from behind, but I just kept walking upstairs.
Once Colby and got to his room, he opened the door and rushed to the bed. Leaning on the door frame, I watched as he pulled the covers down. "Alright, come on." He insists. Dragging my feet, I walked over to the bed and plopped down. "There you go. Alright I'll be downstairs if you need me. I might come up here for a bit but we'll see." He informs. "Mhm." I mumbled. Colby pulls the covers over me, nuzzling my hair gently with his hand. "Thank you." I mumble. "You're welcome." He says softly.
Very quick after that, I was passed out.
Colby POV:
I nuzzled the top of Jordan's head with my hand as I pulled to covers over her. "Thank you." She groans sleepily. "You're welcome." I replied softly. Quietly walking out, I stopped at the frame of my door before leaving and closing it. Gazing at the tired Jordan lying in my bed, my heart started to warm. I felt happier than usual at this particular moment. I wasn't completely sure what this feeling was, but I had an idea. And I honestly hoped it wasn't what I thought it to be, because I've only known Jordan for three days.
But either way, she was asleep, comfortable, and I was happy I could help. I hadn't a clue when she'd wake up, but that didn't matter.
A/N:
AAAH! Hey everyone! I apologize for not posting for three days. I've been busy with school, and everything. I'm trying to bring up my grades and do better this semester so it's quite a lot. But I hope you liked this chapter as much as I did writing it! Thank you for reading!! ❤
