Break Down pt. 2

  Colby POV:

   Jordan had just recently went home, maybe about an hour or so ago. I had only known her for so long but I'd already started to miss her. Jake and I were still the only ones awake. Well, other than Elton of course, who had still been editing. As she left, Jake and I were instantly non-stop talking about her. Her and her humor, how nice she was, our opinions on her. I could tell that Jake, and all the other roommates liked her. I was glad to know that they did, and I'm sure so was she.

  About an hour and a half after Jordan left, maybe two, my phone started ringing in my pocket. I had to spot mine and Jake's conversation to see what it was. I pulled it out of my pocket and was surprised to find that Jordan was FaceTiming me.

  "What is it?" Jake asks, noticing the confused and curious looking my face. "It's Jordan." I say surprisingly. "Well answer it." Jake tells me. I nod my head, and quickly fix up my hair.

  Jake goes into the other room as I answer the facetime call.

'Hey'

'Hey, what's up?'

'Well, I ran into a slight problem"

'Well you're outside for all I can tell so I have a few guesses'

'One of them is probably right'

'Well let's test that theory. What happened?'

'Well, remember how you said to have a safe drive home?'

'Yeah..?'

'Yeah, well that kind of backfired'

'Oh god, what happened?'

'My car broke down in the middle of the road, and I'm kind of stuck'

'Did you call a tow truck?'

'Yeah, we couldn't find what was wrong with the car, so River said he'd take it to the shop and check it out tomorrow. They close really soon'

'River?'

'Oh, yeah. I'm really familiar with the people there. I've always called them to pick up my car. That's one of their names. River'

'Oh, okay'

'Which also means, I don't have a right home'

'Oh, shoot. Do you need me to pick you up? Where are you?'

'If you could, please. I'm Woodley Avenue, pretty close to McDonald's'

'Okay, we'll I'll come get you. How far are you from McDonald's?'

'It's about a 5 minute walk probably'
