Chapter 330
The day seemed to go like a whirlwind once they’d all got up and went downstairs for breakfast in the hotels fancy restaurant, filling themselves up for their busy day and already buzzing with excitement for the evening performance as it had been a while really since they’d done a live show together. The time really was flying though, and as soon as Lisa, Beth and Cheryl’s management team all arrived at the hotel, the work seemed to start straight away. The boys were all whisked away to the outside venue with Beth so they could start doing some final rehearsals and getting a feel for the stage, while Cheryl stayed at the hotel to get ready and go through things with her management. It was still raining cats and dogs outside, so it was actually lucky that Lisa had already planned to straighten Cheryl’s hair so that it was all sleek and glossy, before tying it up in a pony tail; as if she’d been leaving it down, it would likely have turned into a mess by the end of her 3 song set. Even though she wasn't due to perform until 7pm, Cheryl had a interview with the show beforehand and she also needed to have a sound check before the live performance, hence why she was already getting prepared even though it was still only the afternoon.
“Have you told Lisa your news babe?” Cheryl grinned as she sat having her nails done by Lisa in the dressing room inside of her hotel suite, relishing in the fact the tables had now turned and it was her that could try and make Lily blush rather than when she and Lisa had set out to embarrass Cheryl in the trailer at the start of her and Tre’s relationship.
“Ooo what’s your news Lils?...is it juicy?” Lisa smirked whilst still deeply concentrating on making Cheryl’s nails perfect, giving them a nude, fresh look that Cheryl was into at the minute, liking to keep them nice and simple.
“It’s as juicy as a watermelon...haha...juicier even...it’s like actual juice!” Cheryl quirkily commented, making the two girls laugh at her and Lily also give her playful slap on the arm, shaking her head.
“Haha...you’re bonkers babe...haha...come on then Lils, I’m thirsty, give me some juice...haha” Lisa chuckled, setting Cheryl off too as they both high fived each other, highly entertaining themselves while Lily just rolled her eyes, trying not to giggle.
“It’s not that juicy...haha...I’m just going on a date when we get back to LA, that’s all” she replied very flippantly, trying to play it cool. This didn’t stop Lisa’s jaw from dropping though as Cheryl began nodding her head, pulling an excited face and looking like she was the one going on a first date instead of Lily.
“Just a date!?...just a date!?...there’s no such thing as just a date Lils!...oh my God, how did this all happen!?...who is it with?” Lisa immediately began asking, looking completely shocked as Lily hadn't mentioned it at all to her even though they both text each other on a regular basis.
“Haha...I’m trying not to stress out about it...so in my head, it is just a date!...haha...and it’s with Fefe actually...haha...and before you say it like everybody else does, I know we’re completely opposite and on paper it has disaster written all over it...haha...but yeah, that’s your juice for the day” she told her with a smile on her face, finding it quite funny that Lisa was still just staring at her in complete shock while Cheryl was giggling away quietly to herself, feeling happy that for once she wasn't on the receiving end of a bombardment of awkward questions.
“FEFE!!!...as in Chez’s crazy dancer Fefe who for some reason reminds me of Topcat?...haha” Lisa burst out, making Lily open her mouth wide while Cheryl snorted, finding it hilarious.
“YES!!!...haha...oh my God Topcat! That’s who I've been thinking of all this time! I knew he reminded me of someone like that!...hahaha” Cheryl laughed her head off as Lisa giggled back at her, ignoring the pout on Lily’s face.
