Chapter 295

The couple continued just having a lazy day together and it was actually very peaceful as they’d kept the TV and the music they often played off, just so that Tre’s headache could ease, leaving them both in a blissful silence as they relaxed. Cheryl had curled herself up onto Tre’s lazyboy chair again, snuggling down in his huge Lakers sweatshirt which practically went down to her knees like a dress and she had to scrunch the sleeves up to her elbows as her arms became invisible otherwise, allowing her to continue writing down little lyrics she kept coming up with, having woken up in a very creative mood for some reason.

While she’d been lost in her own musical world, Tre had been lying across the sofa opposite her and was now wearing an extremely cosy looking woolly grey jumper which had a hood that he’d pulled up over his head, making Cheryl smile every time she looked over at him as he looked so gorgeous and cute in it, even though he really wasn’t very well. He’d also changed into some black jogging bottoms too which wasn’t the most stylish look with a woolly jumper, but he felt incredibly comfy and that’s all that mattered to him at the moment as he’d began shivering again just after having his lunch and had felt freezing cold even though Cheryl had put the heating on for him, hating to see him shuddering so violently when it wasn’t even very cold.

Tre hadn’t just been lying there doing nothing all afternoon though, he’d been keeping himself entertained by casually working in his own little notebook on something, glancing over at Cheryl every now and then while she was in deep concentration and often twirling the end of her pen against her chin as she pondered over lyrics, looking very sweet as she did so. After smiling at his pad of paper for a minute or two, and adding little bits to it, Tre suddenly began biting his bottom lip and looked over towards her, wondering whether he should disturb her when she looked so lost in thought.

“...What do you think?...quite a babe ain’t she?” Tre eventually smirked as he turned his notebook around to face her and watched her nose immediately scrunch up as she admired the sketch he’d done of her without her even realising this whole time.

“Aww...haha...is there nothing you can’t do? That is seriously so good Tre!” she burst out, pushing her own things to the side and jumping off the sofa to perch beside him on the edge of the sofa, taking the sketch from him and taking a closer look while he began looking quite proud of himself as Cheryl genuinely seemed very impressed.

The drawing he’d done actually did look pretty professional; he’d caught all of her features in such great detail that it almost looked like a black and white photograph, showing her long, dark eyelashes standing out from her glossy brown eyes, the dimple in her cheek being extra deep as she’d had the end of her pen in her mouth while he’d been drawing the lower part of her face, her soft, loose side fringe was swept down from her forehead and then tucked behind her ear, and he’d even picked out the slight bump in her nose which was something she’d inherited from her dad’s side of the family. Tre comfortingly wrapped his arm around her back and gently stroked her waist as she sat staring at the sketch, thinking he was so talented and loved how he’d just secretly been drawing it without her even knowing, managing to capture her in a moment of song writing.

“I messed your eyebrow up a bit sorry...haha...I think I coughed at that point so it looks like you need a bit of a plucking...haha” Tre chuckled, making her giggle and shake her head as she just thought it was brilliant and never would be able to sketch something like this herself.

“No you haven’t...I love it...haha...How do you do the hair? It looks real!...I’d love to be able to sketch properly like this...everything I do just looks deformed or like it’s been in some kind of dreadful tragedy” Cheryl smirked as he gave her waist a gentle squeeze and began laughing at her before leaning his head up and softly kissing her cheek, bringing out her dimples even more.
