Chapter 214
As soon as the alarm started going off early the next morning, Cheryl immediately woke up after a nice long sleep and quickly turned it off before it started disturbing Tre who didn’t actually need to get up yet. She was surprisingly quite awake considering it was only 6.30am, but after going to bed relatively early and staying in a deep sleep throughout the night, snuggled in Tre’s arms which were still wrapped around her, she’d managed to get all the sleep she needed. She could see from the dim glow behind the curtains that the sun was just starting to rise over the ocean, enabling her to see around the room rather than being in the pitch black and she could feel Tre’s warm breathing on the back of her neck where he obviously had rested his head. She had to move extremely slowly and carefully to try and not wake him up as she climbed out of bed due to their legs being intertwined, Tre’s body pressed right up against the back of her as if it was perfectly moulded to be there and his arms were still cuddling her tightly which she had been holding onto all night. Miraculously however, she did manage to unravel herself from him and creep out of the bedroom into the hallway, spotting that the kitchen light was already on.
“Morning!” Cheryl called quite cheerfully as she found Gary making himself some toast, the coffee machine whirring quietly in the background.
“Morning!...do you want me to put some toast in for ya?” he greeted her, looking slightly more tired than she did, never having been a good morning person.
“Yes please...how was your little night out?” she yawned softly as she went to grab some mugs from the kitchen cupboard and took them over to the coffee machine which had just finished.
“Aye it was sound!...just a few drinks and some games of pool out at one of those bars down by the mariner...wishing I’d came back a bit earlier like, I felt like it was the death toll ringing when my alarm started going off this morning!” he joked, making Cheryl giggle quietly as she poured them some coffee and took them to the breakfast bar, the sound of somebody in the shower also starting to be heard in the background.
“Haha...wey I’m alright cos I literally fell asleep around half 8 or something!...haha...I’ve had a proper good night’s sleep!...I’ll just leave a key for Tre and he can let himself out when he’s up, seems a shame to wake him before we go when it’s his day off!” she replied as Gary joined her with two plates of toast, grabbing a pot of jam for himself and a tub of Nutella for Cheryl to spread over it.
“Yeah, we don’t want to disturb Sleeping Beauty do we?” he sarcastically responded with a smirk on his face as Cheryl just chuckled and playfully hit his arm, shaking her head.
“Haha...aww leave him alone...you go crazy whenever somebody wakes you up on a day off, so you can’t talk!...plus, Tre’s version of a day off is spending his whole time in the gym, so he needs all the energy he can get!...haha” Cheryl defended him as Gary rolled his eyes, thinking of nothing worse and seeing no enjoyment in spending hours and hours working out.
“He’s one crazy mo fo, I’ll give him that!...haha” he grinned as the two sibling started laughing together, eating their breakfast.
“Yo Tweedy camp, what can I have for breakfast before I eat my own arm?!” Lisa wandered in to join them not long after, already dressed for the day.
“Haha...morning blondy...erm...we’ve got toast, some cereal, porridge, fruit if you want to make yourself a fruit salad thing...erm...eggs...I don’t think we’ve got any bacon or sausage or anything, we need to go shopping” Cheryl answered her, having finished her own toast and was now just casually sipping at her coffee.
“Oooo...I might just have some porridge and a bit of jam...that will keep me full for a while cos you never know when your break is gonna be on these shoots do you?” she replied happily as Cheryl got up to get some for her as Lisa didn’t really know where anything was, having not stayed here much in the past as Cheryl’s shoots were mostly taken in the UK. “I tell ya what mind...I could get used to coming and staying here! It’s lovely and relaxed, I didn’t even mind getting up this morning cos it was already nice and warm and starting to get light outside...normally it’s always bloody raining and cold at this time in the morning back home, isn’t it?” she started chattering away as Cheryl began making her porridge and went to switch the coffee machine back on while Gary just pulled an unimpressed face at Lisa, agreeing with her slightly that things were much easier over in LA, but he’d still rather be tucked up in bed right now.
