Chapter 271
Gary had woken up with an extremely sore head the next morning, but had dragged himself out of bed none the less as he thought if he could just get all of his stuff together and his suitcase downstairs, then he’d be able to just sleep for the rest of the day up until when they had to leave for the airport. He’d been extremely confused when he’d found the plate of Nutella and toast on the lounge carpet which he’d had to make a wild dash for as Buster was about to engorge the entire lot of it before Gary quickly picked it up, just being able to imagine the amount of dog sick that would be everywhere later if the tiny Chihuahua had been able to eat it all. Joan was due to arrive during the afternoon as she was going to stay for the night at Cheryl’s before taking the dogs back to Newcastle with her for the month that Cheryl was away, Cheryl having thought it would be too cheeky to ask Lily’s parents again, even though they did actually quite enjoy having her two funny dogs go to stay with them.
The sounds of thumping and cases being dragged across the landing and then down the stairs, had gradually began to waken Tre who had been fast asleep after only going to bed a few hours ago really. The burst of satisfied pleasure he realised he could still feel from his and Cheryl’s rather lively night, instantly brought a huge smile onto his face despite him feeling extremely tired and his head was spinning ever so slightly from drinking so much, but nothing could spoil the incredible mood he woke up in. Cheryl was still cuddled into his body and was keeping him so cosy and warm that he just wanted to lie there forever, but after glancing at the clock on the bedside table, he realised that the alarm was actually due to go off in 10 minutes anyway, and so he carefully stretched across and cancelled it as he thought he’d sweetly wake Cheryl up himself rather than having her dragged from her dreamland by a blaring alarm.
Tre loved how Cheryl always seemed to naturally just weave her body around his, fitting them together like a jigsaw puzzle so that they more or less became just one body. Her legs had intertwined in between his and she fitted into the crook of his arm perfectly so that he could hug his own arm around her and still feel so comfortable as her head would rest on his chest like a pillow and her hand would always lie somewhere on his torso, in this case, up by his shoulder as she snuggled him back. He found her affectionate personality so endearing as he really enjoyed a good cuddle and was never one to just want his own side of the bed where there’d be no contact whatsoever, he found it a soothing feeling of having her safely in his arms and both of them kept each other nice and warm which just made them sleep even better and was always what they missed the most whenever they were apart.
Despite feeling like he could just continue lying there for the rest of the day with his face nuzzled into Cheryl’s soft, brown hair while he gently stroked her bare side, enjoying how soft and toned her body was, Tre eventually realised she did still have a lot to do before the flight and so had better waken her up. “Cheryl baby...you gonna wake up now sweetheart?” he began softly speaking to her, reaching his hand up to interlock his fingers with her own which were rested up by his shoulder while he used his other hand to stroke her hair away from her face. “Haha...come on bambs, wakey wakey...” he chuckled as she wasn’t budging whatsoever, obviously feeling just as tired as he was. Her lack of response still led to Tre moving onto his second technique as he shuffled down the bed slightly and began lightly kissing her cheek and nuzzling her nose, suddenly smiling as he noticed her nose crinkle up and brow furrow, showing she was gradually starting to wake up. He continued kissing her while starting to gently roll over with her until he was lying on top of her body, his lips moving to hers which made him smile as she began kissing him back, having at last left her blissful dream, only to be guided straight into a new one.
