Chapter 363
It felt good to be out and about driving again, allowing Cheryl to have some time to herself to sort her head out and calm down after the pretty hectic day she'd just had; she'd put a Katy B album on that she kept on a low volume to relax her, turned her heating up to keep her nice and warm due to only wearing her pyjamas, and it was actually quite soothing driving through the darkness with only the bright street lamps flashing past her at regular intervals as they led her towards Kimberley's stunningly gorgeous house outside of the city, not too far away from her own. She got a little fluttering of excitement as she turned onto the majestic avenue of plush detached houses where Kimberley lived, approaching the high hedged wall near the end of the road that she eventually was able to turn into and drive through the opening gate up onto her smart, block paved driveway, Cheryl always getting such a peaceful feeling whenever she visited Kimberley's house for some reason; probably just because she always knew it would be a safe haven for her, just as Derek's apartment always was too.She hadn't even turned the engine off before she spotted a beam of light suddenly shine brightly through the darkness as the front door swung open and Kimberley's happy beaming face instantly appeared, screaming excitedly and waving her arms around as she ran down the little steps and towards Cheryl's car. Cheryl just burst out laughing as she quickly opened her car door and jumped out, instantly being pulled into a giant hug and squeezed to death by her best friend who had clearly missed her just as much as Cheryl had missed Kimberley. "ARGHHH!!!...YES YES YES!!!!...NEVER GO AWAY FOR THAT LONG AGAIN, DO YOU HEAR ME WOMAN?" Kim playfully yelled into the peaceful evening as she held onto Cheryl for dear life, never wanting to let her go again as she hated not seeing her for so long, as Cheryl had become much more like a sister than a friend over the years and because of how much they'd been through together; both good and bad times.
"I won't, I promise!...hahaha...Argh I've missed you so bloody much babe, it's not even funny!...haha...you smell freaking amazing!...hahaha" Cheryl groaned whilst not actually being able to unwrap her arms from around her best friends body, thinking there was a good chance they'd just be stood outside all night at this rate like a pair of weirdoes.
"Haha...I had a shower especially for you...haha...let me look at you for a second, I freaked out the other day cos I thought I'd forgotten how you looked!...haha" Kim grinned as she forced herself to lift her head up off Cheryl's shoulder, both of them smiling brightly together before Cheryl adorably pouted her lips and squeezed her eyes shut to prompt Kimberley to give her a big, over exaggerated kiss until they both began giggling hysterically again.
"Hahaha...I missed your juicy lips as well...haha...come on, I'm freezing me bazookers off out here, I thought I'd brave it and go braless...haha...kinda forgot it's practically winter over here...haha" Cheryl chuckled as she turned and quickly grabbed her bag from the car, before jogging up behind Kimberley who was laughing away cheerfully whilst Cheryl repeatedly patted her much loved ass all the way inside of the house.Just as always, Kimberley's home was spotless and had an amazingly cosy atmosphere as she'd sparked up her log burning fire awaiting Cheryl's arrival, knowing that she'd want to just have a nice, quiet night in after her busy month and with the tour now within touching distance, making her bound to be pretty nervous by now. She'd lit some gorgeous smelling scented candles which emitted a sweet fragrance to consume her homely lounge that she always kept very pristine and proper; her soft cream carpet making Cheryl take her boots off straight away as she loved how springy it always felt under her feet, Kim's new beige coloured sofa that curved around the back wall of the room and under her huge window that was currently hidden by some pale blue curtains to compliment the slightly nautical, seaside theme she had going on at the minute, and the variation of blue cushions that Cheryl made herself comfy against when she collapsed down onto the sofa, giving her feet a rest as they were still aching constantly.
