Chapter 348

“Urhhh...whyyy?” the disgruntled whines of a very grumpy Geordie girl began resonating around the bedroom the next day as she began squirming around in the sheets that she’d managed to get herself tangled up in, groaning even more when she rubbed her eyes and instantly realised she still had her makeup on and so now she’d probably have mascara all over her face. Her head was spinning like a waltza before she’d even opened her eyes, and so when she eventually did dare to blink a few times, a very nauseous sensation washed over her and made her immediately close them again, feeling very sorry for herself and was now deeply regretting having so many of the shots that were a constant feature of their table last night. The room seemed absolutely boiling for some reason, and Tre wasn’t even anywhere near her as he’d rolled away from her during the middle of the night, so she couldn’t even blame it on him really. After much moaning and groaning however, and finally being able to push herself up slightly to rest against the headboard, her constant complaining had began to gradually wake Tre up too.

“What are you grumbling at?” Tre whined as he rolled onto his back and dragged his hand down his face, having been enjoying a nice sleep before he’d been woken up with all of her wriggling around and heavy sighs.

“I’m dying...why did you let me drink so much?...you know I get bad hangovers when I drink stuff like that” she groaned back with her eyes still closed, not being able to see the shocked expression on Tre’s face at the fact this all seemed to be his fault in her mind.

“Hey you cheeky cow! Never mind blaming me for this, I can’t stop you from knocking them back can I?!...plus you’re older than me, you should know better...haha...I had to carry you to bed as well, so say thank you” he quickly responded, before chuckling at the pout she made as soon as he’d mentioned their little age difference, knowing it wound her up every time.

“No...You wouldn’t have needed to carry me to bed if you’d stopped me from drinking so much!” she moodily replied, starting to feel like she could throw up as well now and so closed her eyes again.

“Haha...you’re one ungrateful madam sometimes, honestly...you’re not going to have a bad temper all day are you?” he shook his head in despair as he turned to lie on his side and looked up at her unhappy face, trying not to laugh at the fact her hair had turned into a birds nest on top of her head and her eyes were looking much more smokier than they were meant to be.

“I hate feeling sick...and I’ve got all that *Ducking* packing to do as well...why does this have to happen?...why can’t I just have a nice drink and then wake up happy the next morning?” she stuck her bottom lip out whilst massaging her temple to try and ease the headache she had, talking as if none of this was self inflicted and instead had cruelly been put upon her for no reason whatsoever.

“Haha...cos you didn’t just have a nice drink! You had about 10 nice drinks!...hahaha...you were very funny though before you started falling asleep at the table, you were definitely a good source of entertainment for us all...haha...aww come here, see if a nice cuddle makes you feel better, and then I’ll get up and get you something for your head as well...you drunkie monkey...haha” Tre smiled brightly as he began taking pity on her due to her adorable face, prompting him to open his arms and pull her down to rest her head against his chest so that he could hug her into him, giving her a kiss on the forehead as she did so. “Is that comfier for you?” he asked quietly as he felt her nuzzling her cheek against his bare chest and wrapping her arms around his middle.

“Mmm...yeah...thank you” she mumbled back as he just smirked and shook his head, stroking his hand up and down her arm whilst using his fingers on his other hand to soothingly rub her brow in a circular motion to try and make her feel better, even though he knew this was all her fault and she deserved a bad head. “Tre...sorry for saying you had Dumbo ears...I just remembered that I said that, it was mean of me” she randomly told him as he began sniggering, making her tilt her head up to look at him from the tops of her eyes, giving them that glossy, Bambi look that made her look adorable.
