Chapter 391
The bar the girls had chosen to go to was one that Nicola had recommended after Cheryl had texted her earlier that day to ask where the best places to go were in Nicola’s home city of Liverpool, instantly receiving an answer and a tirade of complaints that she couldn’t join them due to still being in London helping to tie up the loose ends of the new Girls Aloud tracks for the album that she was heavily involved in the production of. It was definitely a good idea however to ask for Nicola’s advice, as the four of them instantly burst into a chorus of ‘Oooo’s’ and Ahh’s’ as soon as they’d wandered into the gorgeous, upmarket bar that had already impressed them just from the outside due to the two waterfall type features either side of the doorway against the slate front of the building. The whole interior followed the water theme carried through from outside, with a long, canal type feature running across the middle of the room surrounded by white marble bars where people were sat enjoying their drinks, and high gloss walls that meant everything looked like it was sparkling and gleaming in the spotlights covering the ceiling and even dotted around the floor.
“Wowza!...This place looks amazing!...well done Nic…haha” Cheryl brightly announced in response to how cool it all looked, thinking Nicola had definitely made a great choice for them as she knew Cheryl always loved places that were a bit quirky and had a theme about them.
“I’m gonna be running to the loo every five minutes though with the constant sound of running water…haha…Oooo it’s one of those bars where they come to your table to ask what you want as well…I love places like this cos it means nobody else will know how drunk we’re getting cos we don’t actually have to stand up!...haha” Brandee began chuckling as they all began laughing too and nodding their heads in agreement, before following Lily who had spotted a free tall circular table that had a round, black leather sofa elevated up which surrounded it.
“Uhh…you just know that one of us will fall off here at the end of the night when we try to get down…haha” Lily smirked as she pulled herself up to sit on the tall seating, thinking it would be a miracle for them all to slide back off later on after a few drinks and in their stilettos without any accidents and somebody landing on their face.
“And we all know it will be Brya…hahaha” Cheryl cheekily added before bursting out laughing at herself as Brya turned and playfully slapped her arm, before they all joined Lily and sat down, making themselves comfy for the night.
“It will be you actually, cos I’ll just push you off…muhahaha” Brya evilly laughed back as Cheryl dramatically gasped and acted as though she was shocked that Brya would even suggest doing such a cruel thing.
“Well somebody’s true colours are coming out now aren’t they?!...and after I kindly let you borrow my dress that you annoyingly look better in than me…haha…I’ve got my eye on you Miss Ambrya” Cheryl joked as she pouted her lips and gave Brya an accusing look while she pulled faces in return, just making them all end up giggling again, clearly in a giddy mood all being out together without the boys for once.
“Feisty one you are!” Brandee humorously spoke in a funny voice which greatly amused Cheryl who began laughing her head off loudly, while Lily just smirked and shook her head.
“Oh God…please don’t do that babe…Fefe does that impression all the bloody time and thinks it’s the most hilarious thing ever…haha…although to be honest, Fe thinks anything he says is the most hilarious thing ever” Lily rolled her eyes and chuckled as the others giggled at her, it always being a great source of entertainment on the bus to watch Lily and Fefe’s relationship, as he spent the majority of his time in his own crazy ‘Fefe’ world, while Lily spent a good 90% of her time completely despairing at him or telling him off for something.
“I would love to spend like half an hour in Fefe’s mind to see what the hell goes on in there sometimes…we were both in the kitchen this morning together making some toast, and out of nowhere he just asks me whether I think if a bouncy ball was dropped onto a concrete surface from a hot air balloon, would it bounce all the way back up to the height it was dropped!...haha…like where the hell did that come from when all he’s doing is making some toast!?” Brandee told them with a wide grin on her face as she just found Fefe such a fascinating, wacky character, while the rest all smirked too and screwed their faces up from just thinking he was plain weird.
“I don’t think even I would survive half an hour in Fefe’s mind, and I like to think I’ve got at least half of him sussed out…haha” Lily replied animatedly as she picked up one of the smart, black leather bound cocktail menus to have a look at.
“You’d be just fine in Fefe’s head Lils, cos you’re all he thinks about now that he loves you…awwww” Cheryl playfully began speaking in a cute baby voice whilst lightly pinching Lily’s cheek until she slapped her hand away, making them all chuckle like school girls.
“Gerroff you numpty…haha” Lily pouted at her cheeky best friend, feeling her cheeks flushing pink slightly as the girls were all smiling at her, having heard the gossip earlier from Cheryl who just hadn’t been able to keep it to herself any longer as she just thought it was so exciting and it had completely melted her heart when she’d heard and seen the happiness on Lily’s face.
“Aww…it’s so adorable though Lils…who’d have thought it a couple of months ago?!...you guys really are great together though, I think you’ve managed to make him grow up a little bit…haha…not totally like, but at least an acceptable amount…haha” Brandee scrunched her nose up sweetly, having actually loved having 3 couples on the tour as it meant there was always a lovely, fun atmosphere; as long as none of them were arguing of course, in which case it was a nightmare.
“He has chilled out more I think since you two got together…he’s still bonkers, but he seems to have learnt how to control it more…haha…I reckon if the two of you hadn’t been together, he’d be like going out every night partying and stuff, don’t you?...Tyrell was saying that’s what he was like on the Chris Brown tour” Brya shared, having also seen a big change in how Fefe acted since being with Lily, and Cheryl couldn’t help but think that Lily had changed slightly too, in that she was definitely much happier and carefree now, and was probably a little bit more crazy herself too, even though she’d never admit to it.
“I know! I was surprised when he said he just wanted a night in tonight rather than going out…haha…he said he wanted to work on some of his remixes he’s been making on his laptop and then have an early night cos he wants to go swimming in the morning…haha…he’s a changed man, bless him” Lily agreed, it definitely seeming that Fefe was living up to what he’d promised her about being somebody she could trust and who would treat her right, not going out all of the time getting wasted or messing around as he had been known to do in his past of living a bachelor lifestyle.
“I think he knows not to mess with Lily…haha…she might look all sweet and innocent, but I fear for me life whenever she’s angry with me about something, she can be pretty scary…haha…anyways, pass these menus, let’s get our drink on” Cheryl smirked and gave Lily a wink, before clapping her hands together as Brya took out all the drinks menus from the stand next to her and passed them around, getting them all excited as they looked through all the amazing sounding cocktails that were on offer as their night began.
