Chapter 358
It had been a very long day by the time they'd all been allowed to head off home after a busy day rehearsing; Cheryl having also spent part of the afternoon filming a sequence for one of her back drops which consisted of her wearing a tiny playsuit that left her freezing cold, becoming thankful that Tre had his giant puffer jacket with him which he kindly wrapped around her to warm her up, trying his best not to be smug about the fact he knew it was a good idea to bring it today after she'd taken the Mick out of him just that morning. Cheryl and her team were extremely happy with how everything was going as they'd found no problems with the stage or any of the technology they were using, which is where problems mostly would arise, but they still had the dress rehearsal tomorrow that was starting to stress out the stylist part of her team, as they were well aware that not everything was ready yet and so they'd be working for hours more into the night to try and have it all sorted for tomorrow.

Despite it being a long and tiring day, Fefe and Lily were both still very excited to have a night out together and so playfully gave each other what seemed like a million kisses as they were leaving Elstree Studios and went their separate ways, having agreed to meet at the bar in a couple of hours which didn't really leave Lily much time to get herself glammed up, meaning that eventually she was forced to reluctantly push him away and run away giggling to herself before jumping into the SUV to the sound of wolf whistles courtesy of Cheryl and Tre who'd been watching the new couple being incredibly soppy with each other. This new happy and loved up Lily was definitely something that Cheryl was benefiting from too, as she couldn't actually remember the last time she'd had a telling off from her bossy PA, even though she and Tre had been running a bit late this morning, Lily hadn't said a word about it to them when they'd climbed into the car, and instead had just given them a beaming smile that Cheryl found quite unnerving.

"Lils...dinners ready?" Rosie shouted through the plush London apartment that she'd recently moved into with her sister, loving her new city life since moving from their parents country farmhouse, and despite the two siblings often getting on each other's nerves about silly things, they were both actually quite enjoying living together.
"Rosie, have you been using my shampoo?...I swear I only bought some on Sunday and it's already nearly empty...I haven't washed my hair that much!" Lily accused her younger sister as she wandered into her light and sleek kitchen which was her pride and joy; the white high gloss cupboards gleaming away in her fancy spot lights, her new black granite worktop which had tiny sparkly bits in it which she'd actually took a photo of and sent to everyone when it was first fitted as she'd been so excited about it, her purple Smeg fridge adding a blast of colour and filtering out into all of her matching purple utensils and artwork she had on the walls, everything being nice and organised to suit her character.
"Haha...I may have done...why can't we just share? What's the point in us buying two sets of shampoo and conditioner when we have the same kind of hair and the same colour and everything?...sharing his caring remember...haha...plus it makes the bathroom look tidier when there's less bottles" Rosie gave her a wink whilst smirking, knowing that she'd win Lily around by playing the neat freak card.
"Fair enough I suppose, but if we're going to do that, then we need to have a money jar so we're both contributing...I'm not getting everything for you...and your hair is longer than mine, so you use more" Lily agreed as she sat down at her smart glass table she had by the window in her kitchen, her hair wrapped up in a fluffy white towel as she'd just been in the shower, trying to make sure she was ready in time as she didn't want poor Fefe sat in a bar by himself waiting for her.
"You get all that stuff free from Cheryl you cheeky cow!...hahaha...look at you trying to swindle me out of my hard earned money!" Rosie burst out as she spooned some mint sauce on the delicious looking lamb she'd kindly made for them both, making Lily start giggling away to herself for being caught out.
"Damn it!...hahaha...Okay, fair enough...but the shower gel and all the bubble baths and stuff aren't L'Oreal, so I do have to buy them...haha...I thought I'd get away with that!" Lily chuckled away as she began eating, feeling in a very giddy mood from knowing she was going out soon, especially as she and Fefe had already had a nice day together and she'd gazed with complete fascination when she'd been watching him dancing in rehearsals earlier.
"How stupid do you think I am?!...haha...don't answer that actually!" Rosie had shook her head as Lily gave her a raised eyebrow, the countless occasions of Rosie behaving pretty stupidly in the past flashing through her mind. "You're staying out tonight aren't you?" she asked before giggling as Lily began nodding her head and doing a little dance in her seat whilst she smiled brightly, clearly looking forward to the fact she wasn't planning on coming home later. "Haha...I'll take that as a yes...haha...is this because of the other morning?...haha...I promise I'll knock next time, I just wanted to annoy you yesterday" she sniggered as Lily rolled her eyes.
"You're a little nightmare you, you really are...haha...and yes, it's partly because we'd quite like some privacy for once...and also his hotel is just nearer to the bar...haha" Lily smiled, trying not to laugh at the funny faces her sister was pulling at her in response to her admitting she wanted some alone time with him.
"Woooo...and why would two young lovebirds want a bit of privacy then I wonder?...Is silly Lily fancying a bit of wil...hahaha" Rosie had gone to playfully joke before Lily stretched across the table and put her hand over her mouth to stop her from saying it, making both of them burst out laughing together.
"Hahaha...shut up ya dirty cow...haha...leave us alone" Lily giggled, feeling her cheeks going pink from talking about it and from seeing the cheesy grin on her sister's face.
"Hahaha...hey you go for it girl! I don't know how you can last so long!...a whole flaming year! I'd have turned into some kind of psycho going that long without it...a couple of weeks and I'm sat in a corner biting my nails and rocking to and fro!" she animatedly replied, having been desperate for her sister to get into a new relationship for ages, never being able to understand how Lily could go so long just being single, as Rosie herself hated it and got bored very easily when she was by herself all of the time.
"You're a horny little devil though aren't you?...haha...I have more self control thank God...I'll just see how tonight goes I think...if it happens it happens, if it doesn't, then it will sometime...haha...like I don't want to plan it...I don't want us sat having a drink all night knowing exactly what it's leading to, it will just be awkward that way...I really like him though, he's great...he's shaving his bloody hair off tomorrow though, which I'm not happy about, I love his cute curly hair...haha...I think I'll sleep with him just to make him change his mind...hahaha" Lily began giggling at herself, amusing Rosie too as it sounded like something she herself would say.
"Hahaha...there's the sister I know and love!...you've got to take advantage of being a woman sometimes, there's nothing wrong with that...haha...I've used sex loads just to get what I want...haha...dancers are supposed to be amazing in bed as well...I might ask Chez if I can be a groupie so I can try one of them out...haha" Rosie pouted her lips as the two of them tucked into their dinner, making Lily shake her head in despair at how naughty her sister could be and how shameless she was sometimes.
"Haha...you're terrible Rose, honestly...but yeah, Chez is always raving about how dancers are definitely the best in bed...I flaming believe her as well after hearing about some of the things she and Tre get up to and knowing how long they go on for, it's ridiculous sometimes...haha...she was telling me that she was literally on the ceiling once, I'd be terrified!...haha...I don't like heights!...maybe it's just Tre though, he's the only dancer that I know of who she's been with" Lily told her, making her eyes widen at the thought of how on earth Cheryl had ended up on the ceiling during sex.
"Two dancers!...there was Derek as well...he's a different type of dancer though isn't he? He hasn't got all the muscles going on like Tre does" Rosie chipped in, having met Derek a couple of years ago and had found him hilarious for some reason as he was so dorky.
"She never slept with Derek though...they'd sleep in the same bed, but she says they never actually had sex or anything" Lily shook her head while Rosie responded with a disbelieving look, thinking this seemed very unlikely after having witnessed how close Cheryl and Derek had been back then and how they'd be together literally 24/7 often by themselves, as Cheryl had kind of isolated herself from everyone else.
"Well she swears they didn't...apparently it didn't feel right or whatever and it was too confusing, so they kept just having these really awkward moments where they'd be about to and then she'd have to back out cos it felt too uncomfortable...and then they just gave up and decided to stay as good friends instead...don't ever go there with her mind, she gets very defensive about it all...haha...it must have been hard for her though if you think about it...her head was so messed up back then and then having this guy who she was already best friends with suddenly saving her life and taking such good care of her...plus he isn't exactly an eyesore is he?...haha...I can understand why she might have tried to go there with him, but she just wasn't ready...Like I truly believe she wasn't ready to be with someone again until just this Christmas that's gone by to be honest...that's when she seemed to be totally back to her old self again" Lily explained, thinking there probably was more to it all than she knew, but she'd never pressure Cheryl into talking about things that were so sensitive for her, thinking it was unfair to ever make her relive such horrible times in her life.
"Well I still think they must have done it at one point together...I mean come on, how could they not?...they went on holidays and all sorts together, they shared rooms, and let's face it, how could he possibly not love her...haha...she even looks beautiful when she's crying for God's sake...which she was doing a lot with him!...I don't know, I just can't understand how nothing could have happened during all that time...but maybe it's just cos I have a dirty mind...haha" Rosie smirked before giggling, knowing fine well that Cheryl had very different views to her when it came to relationships and being intimate with guys, Cheryl being much shyer surprisingly enough about those sorts of things than Rosie was.
"Haha..well just don't ever say anything about it to her, honestly...she really doesn't like talking about it...she just gives you that death stare whenever it's brought up...haha...this is delicious by the way...thank you...how should I have my hair tonight do you reckon?" Lily gave her a warning before changing the subject, knowing she needed to go and finish getting ready in a minute as she had just under an hour left before the time they'd arranged to meet.
"Ooo can I do one of those fishtail plaits on you?!...I've been practicing on Daisy while you were in LA, and I swear I'm literally a professional at it now...haha...I'll do it slightly to the side so that you can drape it over your shoulder, it will look cute, I promise" Rosie enthusiastically offered, clapping her hands together excitedly which just made Lily chuckle and nod her head, thinking it actually sounded quite nice.
"Haha...yeah, go on then...I'm gonna wear those black leather trousers and a white sleeveless top...yanno that pretty one with the lace bits on it?" she smiled, having been told by Cheryl in the car that leather pants were definitely the way forward on dates these days, being backed up by Tre who was vigorously nodding his head in agreement with her.
"Sounds good to me honey bunny...haha...this is so weird it suddenly being you that's going out on the hot dates! We haven't done this in ages have we? The whole me helping you get ready to go out rather than the other way around" Rosie grinned away, enjoying it just as much as Lily it seemed, and especially as she'd really gotten on well with Fefe when they'd gone out the other day, and so she was more than happy for him to be dating her sister.
"Haha...it's a nice change for me as well! I'm sick to death of doing your hair and sending you on your way while I have to just stay in the house in my PJ's watching the TV like Billy no mates...haha...it's your turn to be the bore tonight...muahaha" Lily smirked before evilly laughing, receiving a playful slap from her sister in return.
"Haha...get lost moron...haha...anyway, Spencer is coming over to stay tomorrow cos he's got a meeting in London on Thursday morning and I haven't seen him for ages" Rosie informed Lily who just groaned and rested her forehead down on the table, having a deep dislike for one of Rosie's friends who was one of the cockiest guys she'd ever met and had no interest in actually having a proper relationship, but seemed to just enjoy messing with women's feelings, including her sisters. "Be nice...he's not that bad...haha...it just saves him staying in a hotel doesn't it?"
"So instead of staying in a hotel that his company would probably pay for anyway with it being a work thing...he's gonna stay in your bed yeah?...that sounds fair doesn't it when he'll then disappear again for a few weeks before he needs another bed to sleep in, or once he's done his rounds of all his other friends with benefits and it's your turn again...I don't understand why you like him so much, he's a total knob!" Lily whined, having had this conversation on countless occasions, but it didn't seem to have any impact on her, Rosie always insisting it was just a bit of fun and she didn't care that he didn't actually want a proper relationship.
"You've never even hung out with him properly though, you make yourself scarce whenever he's around...haha...I like him, he's funny, he's interesting to talk to...he's ridiculously hot...haha...and yeah I know he sees what we have together as just a bit of fun, but so do I, so it doesn't really matter...I know we're never going to go out together properly, but I don't want to anyway...he's a ladies' man, I'd never be able to trust him in a million years so I'd never hint towards anything more serious with him...but while I'm single, yeah I love hanging out with him cos I know he's not going to pressure me into anything long term and he doesn't make it awkward or anything...he's just a friend...haha...and it's only for one night, I promise" Rosie explained, ignoring the funny faces Lily was making and the hand actions she was doing to mimic her sister talking, not understanding how she could enjoy that kind of friendship or whatever it was with somebody who was so big headed and loved himself so much.
"Well he's still a knob...he spent 1 whole hour doing his hair that time we were all in Ibiza together...do you remember?...Any guy who spends 1 hour on his hair needs to seriously be given a wide berth...that's not normal Rose...even I don't spend an hour on just my hair" Lily quirkily told her, remembering a couple of years ago when they'd gone to Ibiza for Rosie's 21st birthday and how he'd been in the suite a group of them were sharing, proving to be much more vain than any of the girls by far.
"Does he realise that just because you're living with me now down here, that that doesn't mean Cheryl's always going to be around?...I guarantee that would have flashed through his mind when you told him you'd moved in...now she's probably the only girl he'd commit to...before probably being a dick and selling a story on her or something...I just don't like him Rose, I'm serious...he's far too obsessed with money and being the big shot to even trust him just as a friend...you need to be careful with him...and never give him any information on Chez, honestly...cos he's just the type to play all nicey nice and then run to the papers with a lot of very over exaggerated made up stories about her...I don't like people like that getting close to our little circle, they're dangerous...I don't want him thinking he can stay here all the time now that you live here too...I know he's your friend, but I'm really uncomfortable with him around" Lily tried to put her point across, feeling it was too much to just ban him altogether as he was an old friend of Rosie's from school, but she still didn't want to find him at her apartment too often, not trusting he had good intentions in the slightest. She also was very suspicious over how many questions he'd often ask her about what Cheryl was like to work for and what they'd been up to etc, basically just digging for gossip; and he'd also made it very apparent how much he liked Cheryl from a night out they'd all been on once when he'd turned up with Rosie and her friends and practically spent the whole night flirting and trying to dance with Cheryl, who Lily could tell was finding the whole thing very uncomfortable as she hadn't wanted to get with anyone around that time, and so Lily had sweetly made up that she had a bad head and wanted to go home, asking Cheryl to go with her so that she could save her from Spencer's constant advances.
"Bless him, he's honestly not that bad Lils...he's just a Jack the lad...not Jack the Ripper!...haha...and who doesn't fancy Chez? Even I fancy Cheryl and I'm as straight as a ruler!...haha...I'll make sure he's on his best behaviour, I swear...you'll barely know he's here" Rosie giggled, thinking her sister was majorly over reacting, as to her he was just her cocky friend from school who was a bit of a cheeky chappy, having been the joker in her group of friends and liked to think of himself as the big I am after scoring a highly paid job in Liverpool for some advertising company that meant he was living the perfect bachelor, extravagant lifestyle at the minute.
"Well you just make sure you keep him on a tight leash, he's your responsibility...and don't let him use our shampoo and conditioner!...he'll use the whole bloody bottle if he's still obsessed with his hair!...right, I need to go and get ready...haha...thanks for dinner, I knew I invited you to move in for a reason" Lily joked with her whilst sticking her tongue out as she stood up and took her empty plate to the dishwasher, leaving Rosie chuckling away to herself as Lily skipped out of the kitchen back to her bedroom to get ready for her big date.
