Chapter 104
“Aww dammit ... you two aren't back already are yas?!!!!” Gary shouted jokingly down the hallway as he watched Tre and Cheryl battling though the front door with their cases.
“Urghh...I wish we weren't!” Cheryl groaned as she threw her bags to the side and pulled her shoes off as Buster and Cocoa came sprinting down the stairs, yapping loudly.
“Oh charming!” Gary rolled his eyes as Tre patted him on the back as he walked past to the kitchen to grab a drink, Buster bouncing excitedly at his heels with his tail wagging as if he was about to take off. “How was it then?...Have you been banished?”
“No I haven’t been banished you cheeky sod! We had the best time Gary honestly, I loved it!...and oh my god! Tre’s mam is the most amazing cook ever, you would love her!” Cheryl grinned, cradling a much calmer Cocoa in her arms as her brother chuckled.
“Lily said you went to New York as well!” he grinned as they followed Tre into the kitchen where he was now getting his face licked off by the tiny dog which he had picked up.
“Yeah it was wicked!...we just got the subway there, it took like 20 minutes! I had no idea he lived that close to it!” Cheryl explained enthusiastically as they all sat down at the kitchen table.
“I’m pretty jealous about that I’ll admit...I bloody love New York!” Gary pulled a face as Cheryl stuck her tongue out.
“Haha...it was absolutely brilliant!...We went shopping, up the Empire State Building, Central Park...oh and we went on this amazing River Cruise thing around the Statue of Liberty with the most delicious deserts ever!...And we went to see Tre’s brother in 'The Lion King' musical...uh I wish we could have stayed longer!” she told Gary all about it before pouting miserably at Tre who nodded his head in agreement.
“You sound like you did it all!...I’m surprised you’re still standing mate after taking her shopping!” Gary chuckled as Tre jokingly dragged his hand down his face.
“It was definitely an experience bro, trust me...nah but we really did have a great time, didn't we babe?!...My family absolutely loved her as well” he smiled, gazing at Cheryl who smiled back sweetly.
“Wey take her away more often! I've loved having the place to myself, it’s been nice and relaxed!” Gary joked as Cheryl punched him in the arm, smirking.
“Has Gill still not had that flaming baby yet?! I've been waiting for the call the whole time I've been away!” Cheryl asked as Gary shook his head, laughing.
“Hahaha...I know it's ridiculous now!...I called her yesterday and she was full of hell about everything...haha...she said if it doesn't come by Wednesday she has to go in and be induced so it won’t be long either way” the two siblings giggled away at how grumpy their older sister would be.
“Jheeze...she looked like she was about to pop when I was there and that was weeks ago, she must be absolutely massive man!” Cheryl grinned to Tre who chuckled, scratching Buster behind the ear.
“Mam says she is staying well clear of her” Gary continued laughing with Cheryl.
“Babe, are you gonna come up with me when he’s born?... I'd really like you to” Cheryl asked Tre once she had stopped laughing.
“Yeah I’d love to! ...Only if they don’t mind, I’ll understand if they want to keep it just family, it’s a special time ain't it” he replied, smiling widely as he watched her dimples beaming from her face.
“Haha...of course they won’t mind babe, they want to meet you too...I want you to show Jake your ear trick anyway, he’ll be fascinated by it!” she giggled, making Tre laugh.
