Chapter 377
By the time Cheryl and Tre had made their way down to the already bustling hotel restaurant, the rest of their group were all sat at a big table enjoying delicious looking full English breakfasts and drinking mugs of tea and coffee which they instantly put down so they could begin loudly clapping and jeering at them, taking the mick out of the state Cheryl had been in last time they’d seen her barely able to stand. “WOW GUYS!...CHERYL’S ACTUALLY ON HER FEET!!!” Brandee cheekily yelled over as Cheryl just rolled her eyes and shook her head whilst she wandered over to the table linking Tre’s arm to help support him, although if she was completely honest, she still wasn’t totally able to walk in a straight line yet and so she needed him just as much.
“Ha bloody ha” she sarcastically replied as they all continued laughing at her, not being sympathetic whatsoever, especially Lily who had been subject to Cheryl’s constant jokes yesterday when she’d been hung-over herself.
“Hahaha…have you dressed up all pretty just to try and make yourself look better Chez?...hahaha…you’ve gone to a lot of effort considering it’s your day off” Lily giggled away as she admired Cheryl’s pretty outfit and the fact she’d done her hair nice and put on a bit of makeup, which she usually wouldn’t bother with when she just had a day to herself, triggering Cheryl to raise her middle finger at her highly amused friend before pulling a chair out and helping Tre sit down.
“Some of us take pride in our appearance Lily, maybe you should try it sometime” she jokingly sniped back whilst the table erupted into a chorus of “Oooo’s”, making her smirk slightly as she took Tre’s crutch off him and lay it down under the table while he sweetly gave her hand a squeeze when she stood back up again, grateful for her still caring for him so well without even being asked.
“Haha…how are you feeling though?...I haven’t seen you that drunk for ages Bella…haha…one minute you were fine and then the next you were like totally gone babe!” Lisa chuckled after having had to be the one to actually take control of the situation last night and get her to go and sit down before she got even worse, thinking there was no way that Cheryl would have managed to escape a hangover this morning after getting so bad.
“Lisa, I’m giving you the official role of not letting me get that drunk ever again whilst we’re on this tour okay?...like I’m going to add it to your job description and everything, cos I felt like total crap this morning…I think I’ve thrown most of the alcohol back up, it was vile…so I’ve just got a thumping headache now…which is why if Fefe doesn’t stop laughing in the next 5 seconds, I’m going to punch him in his stupid face and give him a bad head too” Cheryl moaned as she sat down next to Tre and then gave Fefe who was sniggering away to himself an extreme death stare, setting Lily off giggling again too as the funny couple gave each other a secret high five under the table.
“Haha…aww bless you babe…haha…it’s probably best that you’ve been sick to be honest though…go and have a big breakfast and it will make you feel better, line your stomach back up” Lisa sympathetically told her, finding it very funny on the inside but didn’t have the heart to continue trying to irritate her like the others when she’d already been sick and had a bad head, clearly having suffered enough from her poor judgement last night.
“I don’t know if I can keep much bloody down though…I’ve just been drinking Lucozade all morning, and even that made me feel sick…one of these days I’m just gonna stop drinking altogether yanno, it’s so overrated” Cheryl groaned, feeling her tummy grumble every now and then as it was actually completely empty now and so she was literally starving, but at the same time, the thought of actually eating anything made her feel extremely nauseous.
“Just nibble on something slowly…just some toast or something pet, otherwise you’ll have a headache all day” Joan chipped in with her words of wisdom as she herself tucked into a full fry up, not seeming to have been effected by the drinks she’d had last night and seemed to be having quite a nice morning with the gang that she’d made herself a part of.
“That’s easy for you to say mam…when was the last time you had a hangover? You’re always fine no matter how much you drink!” her daughter pouted moodily across the  table, always having been quite jealous of the fact her own mother was a better drinker than her, and probably had a much better party life than even she did too.
“Haha…wey it’s not my fault you’re a lightweight love…I tried me best to train you well and you’ve obviously took no notice…haha…make her get a grip Tre, I bet she’s been doing ya head in cos you can’t escape from her with ya gammy leg” Joan continued, jokingly giving Cheryl a pout back as her daughter gave her some evil looks, feeling too tired and still a bit emotional to be joking around too much this morning, luckily of which Tre understood and so didn’t join in with them all or encourage them to go further.
“Aww she’s been doing alright, haven’t you babe?...I turn into a big baby when I’ve got a proper hangover, so she’s doing better than I would be…haha…I’d still be in bed right now with the curtains closed if it was me!” he supportively stood up for her, giving her waist a little stroke with his thumb as he’d had his arm wrapped around her before she began getting up, giving him a smile in return for being nice to her and giving her some backup.
“What would you like for breakfast babe?...I’ll go and get it for you” Cheryl kindly offered after spotting it was like a buffet system and that it would take ages for poor Tre to have to hop around filling his plate up, plus she fancied getting away from all the sniggering and smirks that were still going on around the table that she couldn’t joke along with right at this minute with her head driving her crazy.
“Aww thanks…erm, I’ll just have a cooked breakfast like what you make, just a bit of everything…no mushrooms though” he grinned up at her happily before scrunching his nose up as she playfully scratched under his chin as if he was a puppy dog, making the others smile at how soppy they both were with each other at all times, even though they could sense Cheryl was in a grumpy mood this morning.
“I know, I know…mushrooms are the food of Satan according to you…haha…if the waiter person comes around, could you ask for a coffee for me please? A strong one” she giggled, Tre always making a fuss whenever he found mushrooms in his food as he hated them with a passion and regularly amused Cheryl when he went on his little rants about it.
“Yeah, of course…kiss!...mwah…love you, make sure you do get some things for yourself babe cos you haven’t eaten for hours” Tre adorably replied before pouting his lips so she’d bend down to kiss him, bringing out her dimples as she nodded her head and wandered off quietly, making Joan smile to herself as she loved seeing the couple so happy together.
